iPhone love

Since everyone's all excited about the cheaper, cooler iPhones that are coming, I figured I'd drop some knowledge on how the iPhone can help your love life.

1. It's a conversation starter. This will probably become less true as more and more people get them, but I've had plenty of strangers start up conversations with me because they see my phone.
2. You get instant cool points in your favor. It's like having a nice outfit or reading a good book.
3. It shows your personality. From your photos to your bookmarked sites to custom ringers to the music you choose to put on your phone, it shows what you like to read, what images you enjoy and what music you like.
4. There's plenty of ways to find like minds. There's ipling, where you can find people in your neighborhood and your city who are iPhoners, send messages to each other and, if there's an electronic spark, you can become real-life friends. There's also iDating, Dating DNA and other i-friendly connection sites.

Of course, I'm biased. I did love my iPhone so much that I ended up naming it Baby.

You named it?
Just don't change my ringer.

I love my PC...Damn the mac...it does feel funny when I pull up itunes on it though. I rub it and tell it I'll never go all the way apple.

I have Safari on our PC and it does make surfing the web easier than most of the Window based browsers we have. So with itunes and Safari it makes us 2/3 Mac. An iphone would just convert us even more. :)

Never thought of it that way. Kinda gives new meaning to the term "phone sex".

Oh no, I'm pretty sure the new iPhone will only to damage to my social/love life (or any love life I aspire to have.
I've been giddy about the impending 3G version for months now. As a techie, gadget-loving girl, I'm already a little socially, er...stunted. Now, I'll be completely wrapped up in my little sweet toy. But I'm pretty sure that iPhone and I will have a fantastic relationship! :)

I use the Dating DNA web app on my iPhone and it's great. Anytime I have a minute to kill, I enjoy browsing through the photos of compatible singles in the system. They say they have a full SDK-built application coming to the App Store in July as well.
