Something to do today

A Neighborhood Called Baltimore, a group of six MICA students "striving to use art as a catalyst for strengthening community," is hosting a block party today from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be food, entertainment --including Love the Poet and the Mount Royal Elementary Choir -- and activities, including the opportunity to create a house for their clothesline installation.

What better way to meet people, create some art and maybe find someone who catches your eye?

It's in front of MICA’s Meyerhoff House, 140 W. Lafayette Ave.
