Before the date
For this week's Friday Five, let's take a step back. Since we listed date places last week, let's talk about places to meet people. You can't have a date place if you don't have a date, right?
So, folks, give me your suggestions for places to meet people. Bars (yawn) are fine, but try to think out of the box. Places where people aren't expecting to be hit on. I'll share my five favorites (or five categories, if there are an abundance of suggestions) on Friday.

At an O's game- either outside in the concourse, or in seats around you. Its a good place to do so- just start talking about the game and how much you hate the Yankees!

I meet mine at Starbucks...while saying I had no idea where to meet people.

A.) Spin class
B.) Farmers' Market
C.) Pumpkin patch, if the season's right.
Actually, I have no idea. I go to work, then come home and fall asleep. So, as a dateless wonder, I got nothing.

This is an old one, but classes are a good place to meet people. Sure, college students have it easy, but I recently met someone at a martial arts class. I wasn't expecting it (who looks nice after punching stuff for an hour?), but it turned out great.
I'm sure painting or language classes are possibilities for those who are so inclined.
