Father's Day lookalike contest

For Father's Day this year, we're running a picture lookalike contest for fathers and sons. Upload your photos to our gallery, and you just might win tickets to an Orioles game. Pretty sweet!

Winners will be announced the afternoon of Friday, June 18, which gives you time for Father's Day bragging rights.

Meanwhile, check out the gallery. There's already a really cute picture there.

The photo on the left isn't a contestant, but it won an honorable mention in our Reader SunShots family photo contest. It's from Betsy Bartow, a frequent commenter here.

Let's not forget all the great adoptive dads out there. Adopted kids love their dads even if they don't look like them. Hopefully we can think of a contest for Father's Day that takes all kinds of families into account.

Janine thanks for bringing that up-my son is Asian, adopted from Korea. he is very proud to "look just like my daddy" with their matching buzz cut haircuts and Star Wars t-shirts even though his daddy is Caucasian w/ brown hair, I hate these kinds of contests.

Janine and Trish,
You raise good points, but there's nothing in the rules to say fathers and sons who look alike in the ways Trish described -- ie., with matching shirts, or doing similar things -- couldn't emerge as winners. I'd encourage you to upload your pictures, because we'd all love to see these fathers and sons together.

Killjoys. Breathe in, breathe out, relax, have fun. Repeat.
