Prom dresses galore

prom%20dress.jpg

Prom season is upon us, and with that comes the drama of picking the perfect prom dress. If you're the parent of a teenage girl, you know this is a big deal.

Fortunately, finding the right dress is much easier now than when I went to prom 27 oh, who's counting years ago. I love some of the vintage dresses in this photo gallery, which tells you how to find deals on sites like Etsy and Ebay. Looking for modern trends? There's inspiration here. And here are tips on choosing the right dress.

Just got my dress, and just want to remind everyone to order your dresses early since the more popular style do run out of sizes.

As my dear aunt who took me shopping for my dress said: "Use good taste. Find something flattering. Buy the right size ( that fits now, not a crash diet later) Skip the fake tan (i'm quite pale, but the advice is perfect.. only fruit and squash should have an orange skin)
Have fun, and be good. If you can't be good be careful. If you can't be careful, for goodness sakes' DON'T GET CAUGHT. Oh, and don't do anything i can't pronounce.

Good advice! I remember my date had to run all over to find a dress that she could afford! She finally had luck at a thrift store, but we were both late.
