The latest Monday Consult giveaway

waddle.jpg

It's time to give away a prize for questions for the Monday Consult. This week, you can win a copy of "Waddle," one of those cool "scanimation" books, by Rufus Butler Seder.

The rules are as usual: Ask a parenting question that an expert can answer for a future Monday Consult. Make sure to leave your e-mail address in the appropriate space of the comment form so that I can get in touch if you're the lucky winner.

Not so much a parenting question as a question for parents who participate in volunteering at school......

How do you handle other parent volunteers who are so overbearing, controlling and unwilling to work with the other volunteers? It makes for a tough situation for all involved and often sours the experience for everyone, parents and kids.
*please keep me confidential. Just in case.

My question is: How do you teach a young child (6 year old) how to save his money for larger purchases instead of spending it at the dollar store every time he gets a buck?

PS - We got the "Waddle" book out of the library last week and the kids love it!

What's your opinion on teaching infants/toddlers to sign?
