John and Kate watch Jon and Kate Plus 8 Plus Motorcycles
Tonight Jon & Kate Plus 8 finished their two-part crossover series with the stars of "American Chopper." John & Kate Plus 2 did not watch the first part. They learn that the "American Chopper" guys are here to help Jon design a bike of his own because….well, just because he’s Jon.
Kate G. talks on the couch about watching "American Chopper."
Kate S.: “Do you think Kate really watched "American Chopper?”
John: “In ‘days gone by.’ At least she gets to stretch out on the couch now that Jon’s not in the picture.”
Biker Paul Senior is impressed with Jon’s interest in the bike being built for him. The Gosselin children, meanwhile, aren’t much of a focus of the show.
Kate S. “So what do you think is going on with the kids lately?”
John: “They’re raising themselves. As long as Jon and Kate are having fun.”
Kate S: “That is what it’s all about, right?”
Kate G. talks about how much fun it was to have the bikers around to help entertain the kids. “I’d keep ‘em if I could,” she says.
John: “They’re thinking, ‘Why are we here?’” And why were the biker guys riding away in a minivan?”
Jon is seen at the bikers’ shop to help finish work on his new bike. He says as soon as he got there “they put me to work right away.” He is then seen being wheeled around on a cart. He gets some friendly shoves from Paul Senior.
Kate S.: “Even when they’re apart, Jon gets hit.”
Jon muses that this is the first time in a long time that he’s gotten to do guy things, and complains about living in a house with six women (and three sons).
Kate S.: “So do you feel you have a need to do guy things? Like that?”
John: “No. ‘Cause raising a family’s a guy thing.”
Kate S: “Yeah, right.”
John: “I think you need time to do your own thing, but it’s not necessarily building a chopper.”
Kate S.: “What would you do, if you had these limitless resources?”
John: “Follow Springsteen.”
Kate S. “That won’t work, because I’m coming too.”
Kate G. thinks the pink scooter the American Chopper guys made for her is a “mess.”
Kate S.: “At least she’s donating it to charity.”
Biker Mikey and Kate G. go to the spa.
Kate S. “Again, I ask, where are the children?”
John: “Being taken care of by their army of nannies. I guess the kids just aren’t that interesting.”
Kate S.: “I wouldn’t say this was.”
John: “Thing is, daily life isn’t all that interesting. You’ve got to manufacture things.”
Kate G. is seen taking her pink scooter to donate to the Ronald McDonald house, along with the kids in matching outfits.
Kate S.” Oh, there are the kids!”
Kate G. admonishes the kids about the horn one more time. Then she makes a point of telling the Ronald McDonald employee that she rode the scooter.
John: “She actually rode it, so it’s gone up 10 percent in value.”
Jon G. sums up the episode by saying, “I built the bike, I built relationships…”
John: “That’s the problem. He’s building too many relationships.”

It's time to take them off the air...when you have to make the focus of the show Jon and Kate getting their own motorcycles something is amiss. Everyone is sick of the nonsense...take them off and do us all a favor. Kate made her millions off of honest, hardworking Americans who bought the lie...NOW WE AREN'T WATCHING ANYMORE. IT'S JUST YOU AND THE PAPPARAZZI NOW KATE!!!!!!

these people are absolutely disgusting. they need to be off the air and start making a living instead of living off their children. i refuse to watch them anymore because the show is a sham.

Senior Chopper Guy was just Kate with male parts. Wonder how they would be as a couple.
Think about it TLC

With all these people who have "quit watching", the ratings for J&K+8 must have dropped dramatically.
Kate S. - can you find out what the ratings have been since the new season started?

I have watched the show from the very beginning and loved it!! I think the fame of the show has made Kate really into herself!! She has treated Jon so bad for so long, a guy can only take so much!! I don`t blame him for finding someone that treats him like a person, not a SLAVE!! I love all the kids and think they are very special!!

I have watched the show from day one. I loved the show when I could relate to Kate...taking care of kids , cleaning the house but now its not about raising the children. Its all for the money. How many in their everyday life gets to go on so many vacations, meet so many famous people and not pay a dime and even get a motorcyle made just for you!!! I'm not sure its for the kids anymore which is sad because thats why I watched.

Free the Gosselin 8!

Of course, TLC failed to mention that this was the Ronald McDonald House fundraiser that THEY CANCELED because of all the tabloid hype over the Gosselins. Why would you want tabloid trash promoting your event? Especially after they scammed so many churches out of money. It's a sad, sad thing. The Gosselins need to go away.

TLC = The lying channel. John is still a good guy and he will always do what is best for the kids but he does like the freebies. I believe she is all about the show first and kids second.
Sad what entertainment has come down to.

Don't you people have anything better to do? This show was for your entertainment -- now you are experts on the lives of these people? Get a life.

**SIGH** .... It's Jon not John.... lol
This is a great show, and TLC and the Gosselin are excellent at what they do. It has allowed them to EARN a nice living, and I highly doubt the children will ever regret the celebrity they have inherited as a result. If you don't want to watch - don't - but the rest of us will continue to enjoy the show! Go J&K!!

Sorry... I did not read carefully and now feel quite foolish as clearly you have Jon correctly up there.... :P Egg on my face!

In the American Chopper episode I was appalled by the comment Jon made about Paul, Sr "being on his period". I know it was men talking trash but how could Jon be so inconsiderate of his wife, his daughters and the female viewers? Jon has lost all his credibility in my eyes. He is a pig.

The Humane Society, or some other animal organization, needs to look into the welfare of the dogs. Kate's comment last night.."dogs belong in crates.".I know my dogs are beloved members of my family and are treated as such. She makes too many comments about her hate of the dogs...Let's put her in a crate...with a muzzle !!

I love this show and have not missed one episode. What made the show so successful is the children. Last night's episode was all about Jon and Kate. There was barely any coverage of the children. I want to see Cara, Mady, Alexis, Aaden, Collin, Leah, Hannah, and Joel. I don't care to see Jon getting a new motorcycle or Kate at her weekly spa trips.

i am so sad to see the old reruns of this show and the new episodes. they kate and jon have changed so much and not for the better. its all about them jon is a baby oh poor me i was 27 and had eight kids to bad those 8 children have brought both of them more wealth then they have ever seen they don't even show the kids that much anymore its all about them i really won't watch anymore.
Posted by: christine | June 16, 2009 12:32 PM
Last night's show should have been titled "Jon and Kate Minus 8". It was ALL about them. This show is a shell of its' former self.
Posted by: Christy | June 16, 2009 12:46 PM
I seen kate and kids on a couch and chair waiting for an enterview. Mady
wanted a drink of water. kate said get me a bottle of water. they did and
kate drink a drink and wouldn't give mady a drink. mady said I so thirsty I'll get dehydrated and kate said me too. She would not let mady have a drink. Mady said you are so mean. Kate said shooo we are going on air. She didn't know she had already been
videoed. That was the meanest thing I have ever seen. They need to take them kids away from her. I seen on viedio last nt. on my computer.

I would very much like this show to go off the air, because it now truly sucks as a show.
On the other hand, this show feeds, clothes and hopefully educate these innocent children (perhaps until they are college age??)
If the show goes off the air I am afraid that these narcissistic parents may not be able to adequately provide for these children .
So, thinking of the lesser evil, maybe the show should stay on air.

i think this episode was in very bad taste to both the cycle guys but mostly to Jon.. everything that was said was to humiliate Jon. the statements or comments Be a man or man up were not right. tlc seems to enjoy making kate the good one and jon the scapegoat. i pray they can work things out but it appears the tlc wants to keep things in an uproar. give jon a break, let him be a man. we all make mistakes it is time we move on and get on kates back for her comments and her expressions. tlc should really do their editing better.

You guys, do you not have enough to do,besides sitting at a computer judging other people. Jealousy can turn to bitterness....oopps.already has it seems. People reap what they sow..eventually. Not one person here can stand judgement. So..please stop....look at yourselves before you pass jusgement on others. It is easy to do I know, but be the bigger person and let them reap the benifits of their actions whether it be negative of positive. It is their lives not ours, it is their family not ours so please be as kind to others as you would want them to be kind to you.

I will continue to watch Jon and Kate for I'm mostly interested in the "8" Those children are adorable and innocent. I feel sorry for Jon. Kate said he didn't make right choices. Is she really making right choices in all this media madness! Seems the recent shows have focused mainly on Jon and Kate.
Posted by: sue | June 16, 2009 4:11 PM
We watched last night and continue to be saddened by the implosion of this family. The focus is no longer the 8; its totally Jon and Kate.
Its obvious their marriage is in shambles. The tragedy here is how this public tale will impact the kids today and in the future. Its hard enough to share the attention of your parents with one sybling; try 7 others. Let alone millions of lookieloos.
We could tell in season 2 there were some personality issues with Mady. She could be a borderline. I think its safe to say that Kate may be as well. I can only wonder how the other children will turn out.
TLC is in a tough place. They can't pull their highest rated show off the air. But the can't pull a sham over the viewers. Given the public nature of the state of their marriage, I think seperate interviews of Jon and Kate gives the viewer a real sense of what is going on here.
In the end, I think we are watching the last season. The personal lives are too much for people to stay interested. 10 years from now we'll start hearing stories about the children. Unfortunately, I fear those stories will not be good natured or brining the public up to speed because of something positive. God bless those kids.

Even Ronald McDonald didn't want to be associated with the Gosselins and cancelled the charity event.
Kate Gosselin has Narcissistic Personality Disorder and the sooner someone orders her in for a psych eval, the better.
Posted by: stillmb | June 16, 2009 6:11 PM
Stop watching this crap show! Send a message to TLC. Don't watch the show, don't buy crap merchandise TLC will then get the picture. Jon is such a piece of crap and all he does is complain about being a father and having to spend time with the kids. All Kate does is complain about Jon. They've had their 15 minutes of fame. Lets stop lining their pockets when they don't deserve it!!!!

I am SO SICK of Kzilla that I could scream. I would LOVE to knock her over and shave her head. I felt SO bad for the Chopper boy's as they had to deal with her RUDE and IGNORANT comments. HOW DARE her say that her scooter was a " MESS" you ungrateful wench. There are folks who cant afford food and YOU call a gift a MESS. And as far as that person who said they were offended by Jon saying to Paul Sr to get off his period.. GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!! Dudes talk like that all the time. Ever watch a full episode of American Choppers? . YOUR just ridiculous. And after all the crap that KZILLA said or says to Jon in front of those employees ( ooops sorry Kids ) that is the LEAST offensive thing ever said....

This family needs help. All marriages go through rough times but it doesn't help to feel frustrated and unloved. Go to counseling and really talk to each other.Love was there once and you can find it again but it takes work and commitment. Remember the beautiful 8 kids and try harder for them.I wish all the best to all of you.
Posted by: mmc | June 16, 2009 7:35 PM
Kate is a poor excuse for a mom. Please TLC take them off the air before anymore harm is done to the 8 children.
Jon and Kate are so into themselves, it's a shame TLC has let it go this far.
Jon and Kate will reap what they sow.

I personally have alot of faith in both Kate and Jon. They both are very young to have so many children and raising them under the "eagle eye" of the world has to be very stressful for them and the kids.
I feel both parents are going through the midlife crisis before they are legally that old. Having 8 kids would put me in the nut house! They need alone time- just the two of them to recapture that love that is still there. All you need to do is watch the look on their faces when they are near one another. They hurt, they want to get past this mess, but people won't let them work through it alone. For gosh sakes, God forgives our sins, why can't you let them forgive one another and move on? Those kids love them and staying together will benefit those kids more than if they split because the "world of critics" won't let them forgive and forget the mistakes of bad judgement. When was the last time you swept behind your own back door? Leave this poor family be and let them heal- it's not anyone else's business!!!!!

the show has done what it was set out to do and that is to entertain the public.they both have had an advantage that a lot of people will in a life time never get to have.the children have been able to do things and go places that most children their ages do not get to do.but some where alone the way they are both acting younger than the children. he needs to grown up and watch his actions untill he is no longer married.then all he has to do then is pay his child support and do the things that he feels he was cheated out of because he married so young and had so many children.i guess he is trying to make us believe that he was forced into all that he has had thrown on him. he is still a father and needs to act like one. she has a lot on her plate she has to raise all these children on her own. and i do not care how much money she has that is hard to do.but the time is for them to stop trying to out do the other and go get their divorce and go on with their lives..if he likes the cars (that are not made for kids) and the bar room scene "go for it" but at lease do it legal. it's not over till the fat lady sings and people the "fat lady had sang" and it is OVER. marriag, show, and all that goes with it ..............
Posted by: bettie weeks | June 16, 2009 11:45 PM
This show is tastless. Kate should not be allowed to have any more children since she can't take care of the ones she has. Jon should just move out and be done with it. The kids already know that they get everything they want or what Kate wants.
The dogs should be investigated for abuse.
Take the stinking show off the air. It is not a honest show, it's all staged. TLC is definately "The Lying Channel".
Posted by: jenna | June 17, 2009 12:01 AM
I to watch the show and I really enjoy the kids. They are just another family in trouble. The only difference is the are celeberities. I feel sorry for the children. What is this doing to them. In any marriage when it goes bad the children pay the price. I think it is funny that it has all come to this.

Hate much? People, please, take a look into your life.
Dogs are hard to raise, we all know that. Having two dogs, and eight children, can make anyone fusterated, especially two parents who have cameras in their faces 24/7. Would you be able to do such?
WIthout the show, the family, (and I know that it has been more about Jon and Kate than the children because of the tabloids. [Seriously, your brains were given to you for a reason. Use them.])
Kate can't have any more children, nor would I think that they would want any.
The dogs are being taken care of well. They live with eight children. There is going to be a little ear pulling, tail tugging, and just what normal children do.
The show is probably more real life than you would like to believe, just because you all think that you're better than each other. (Guilty as charged there, as well.)
Jon and Kate have done nothing wrong, and if they have, then they will get their due. But really, why discriminate?
Posted by: jessica | June 17, 2009 2:15 PM
I am so over Kate and her "Me, me, me" attitude and what is up with that rooster's butt hairdo she is wearing now days? Give these kids an opportunity to grow up without all the TV exposure, or one day, they will become stuck-up little Kates. Please put something else on TV.
Posted by: Cathy | June 22, 2009 10:28 PM
If Kate wasn't so out of control on having control this marriage could have lasted.
I see that Jon would never tear the children from their mother but she has started it already
"my children " if i have to pull the ship by my self .
As if Jon had nothing to do with raising them this far . She a woman that other woman hate because of her actions during the show !
Even last night with the play houses she not that dumb she knew where they were going to go, but acted as if Jon was once again doing something wrong to make it look better on her.
remember who ever the judge is Kate was seen doing the spanking and teasing one of the children ( twins ) on air about not giving her a drink of water when she was thristy but acted *itchy and drank the water in front of the child just to show her that she wasn't getting a drink .
Posted by: Helen | June 23, 2009 12:07 PM
It is really amazing at what lengths a network would go to to get ratings! Shame on you TLC! Jon and Kate themselves set themselves up for this! They are the epitome of exploitation. How could they do this to they're children. They are in it for the money, I mean for look at all they've gotten!!!!
Posted by: melissa | June 23, 2009 1:33 PM
I wonder if Kate is on pain killers seems to me she has more then a control addiction , She's acting like Jon did something to her but I see it as she using the children to support and take care of her.
Is bank account set up for the children
