Modest Miley Cyrus a fashion inspiration
Depite Miley Cyrus’ controversial photos in Vanity Fair last year, and last month’s uproar over a new tween Dora the Explorer whom some thought looked like a streetwalker, the latest trend in tween fashion is modesty, The Los Angeles Times reports.
In the new Hannah Montana movie out this Friday, there’s not a micro-mini or belly button to be seen, the paper reports. The article quotes Gloria Baume, fashion director of Teen Vogue, as saying tweens are moving away from Britney Spears and finding their fashon inspiration in demurely dressed stars of High School Musical and Nickelodeon's iCarly. Fashion experts say the tweens really do care what their parents think of the way they dress!
Mothers of tween girls (and boys) are rejoicing.
But is it really true? Is your tween daughter opting for more modest look in her spring wardrobe?

Miley Cyrus might be modest when she's being dressed by wardrobe, but she's anything but modest in her real life. Which style do you really think tweens are going to imitate? Not the movie look!

The first poster seems to be just throwing comments out there that have no real basis in fact. The way Miley dresses is fine. And her parents should be proud of the way she is growing up; they have done a good job.

Yeah, when your 16 year old is dating a 20 year old, you've done a super job. Um, hello, not only is that inappropriate, it's ILLEGAL!

I'm not particularly "blog savy", so hopefully the link will work, otherwise, search Miley Cyrus and Juston Gaston on the People magazine website, or even google.
"In the May issue of Teen Vogue (on stands April 14) Cyrus opens up about what her double life is like – even her relationship with 20-year-old model Justin Gaston."

Anonymous, I read the link and I still don't see anything ILLEGAL (as you put it) going on there.
