How to spot animal tracks in your yard

Red fox Have the kids ever wondered what tracked through your yard the night before? With this week's warm weather and attendant mud, it should be easier than ever to spot those prints.

The Maryland Zoo blog has a fun post on how to identify the tracks. We've seen red foxes, such as the cute one at left, walking through the snow in our backyard a time or two.
