The Visionary Arts Museum is free on Sunday, as part of Free Fall Baltimore. There is a lot to see and think about. Lots of colors and unusual sculptural pieces. It's hard to tell what kids get out of it all, but new sights and thoughts are always good.
(I like Free Day, since, if one or more of the grandsons experience behavioral difficulties, I have not lost the entrance fee when we leave immediately.)

FUN FOR MOMS
The Moonflower Garden Club is holding a floral design demonstration with famed floral designer, Ralph Null, who has created designs for the White House, and the windows of Macy's and Saks 5th Avenue in New York, among other notable venues. Before your eyes Ralph will design 10 arrangements that you can make for your own holiday tables (yes, it is that simple). Saturday, November 8, 2008, 9:00 a.m. - noon, Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 B&A Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146. $25. Includes complementary refreshments and boutique (unique artisans) for shopping before and after the program. Floral design supplies also for sale at reasonable prices.
