The Great American Backyard Campout
Tomorrow is the Great American Backyard Campout, a campaign sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation to get families to camp out together for one night. There are community campsites forming around the country for the event, and you can look on the web site to find them in Maryland. Or you can just pitch a tent with your own kids in the backyard.
On the community page of the web site, you can find campfire songs, recipes and spooky stories to tell.
