Next Thursday's tip sheet

So ... what do you really want for Mother's Day? If we do a tip sheet on that for this Thursday, you can leave Charm City Moms strategically displayed on the computer all that day and the next, hoping SOMEBODY will get the hint.

I think this tip sheet is pretty necessary. For example, my e-mail inbox this morning included the following missive:

Chef Gordon Ramsay makes it easy with his new cookbook,

Gordon Ramsay’s Fast Food – PERFECT FOR MOTHER’S DAY

Just what I want on my special day: recipes from a chef who would cuss me out and perhaps vomit in my trash can if he doesn't like what I make from his book. So calming!

(Don't get me wrong; I'm sure the food is good. It just doesn't really say Mother's Day to me.)

What do you want? Post your tips below.

I want a day where we can all hang out as a family, and there is not a single whine, sibling fight or tantrum. What Bliss!

I want a day to myself to do anything I want.

A day of me-time! Start with a manicure/pedicure at the spa, followed by a massage and then time to just relax and read a good book (heck, I'll even take time to read a mediocre book!) Then a nice dinner out with my husband while my child has fun at her grandmother's!

A card with a gift certificate to the spa and a date on the calendar would be a PERFECT gift!!

I would like to have something accomplished at home that I have been wanting for the past several months. For example...rocking chairs for the front porch, windows cleaned, shed cleaned out....oh, there are so many to choose from.....

I would love a couple (or more)sessions with a personal trainer to help in my quest to get back in shape this summer so I can lounge by the baby pool in my pre-motherhood bikini. We'll see....

I agree - a little time to myself would be great!

I would love a pedicure and maybe a prenatal massage. :o)

Then some time at Starbucks & a move with my mom friends (because all of our husbands will be watching our kids).

I can dream, right??

Someone to come in, organize and tag all my thousands of digital pictures of my kids, print out all the best shots, then give me a couple days to myself to finally get them into a scrapbook!

Well, I want a day to spend with my family, as a family. I also wouldn't mind some kind of pampering - a facial, manicure, etc. I also never pass up a nice dinner out.

A 25th hour.
