Finally, Kate has her epiphany. She once thought that her fans were "annoying". But now, Lordy Bee, she realizes that it is because of them that there is a show. Wow - took five seasons to figure that one out. Maybe brain surgery is in her future.

Kate keeps complaining that everything was taken away from HER. She lost her television personna innocense and now she can't get it back. Poor poor Kate! I hope she grows up and becomes the good mother that she purports to be. This show has been a huge disappointment for me. I used to really look forward to it; however all the fighting, etc. ruined it for me. I am so glad that Jon was able to stop the filming of his children. I am sure they will benefit from having a normal life.

Everyday, I think I am about over this whole ordeal. I just cannot believe it all came to this. And, Kate & the lying channel get rewarded for being the biggest liars to hit the TV. I used to think tabloids were villains. Tlc & Kate just surpassed any bad I have ever thought about a tabloid. Heck, I witnessed a paparazzi give to a charity on their show last night...heck of alot better than what I seen Kate & Tlc do.

Last night was not any new film, it was not Jon's current couch talk, it was just a finale from the biggest liars to hit cable & their dog Kate, trying to show their side of peace on earth & good will toward spin~ not Jon. They failed miserably.

Ruth, I don't think the kids will ever have a "normal" life. Neither parent is normal. They will always be a dysfunctional family. Hopefully the children can succeed in spite of their parents. After watching last night's episode I think that's all that they can hope for.

Kate - After talking badly about their father, Kate then goes on to say she will never talk bad about about their father. (shrugging)

Remember on the Ellen show when Kate said, "some people need to shut their mouths." I think she and Jon should both shut their mouths. And I sincerely hope TLC loses millions in sponsorship money.

During the chat, Z said something to the effect that TLC tried to persuade him that Kates not that bad. Z you didn't crack, good for you. Thats class for sure. Its good to know that people who can make a difference won't back down to that farce. You have great integrity and I do hope you write a book and expose the dangers of this reality show nightmare.

You could see how short Jon's fuse was last night. The way he treated the twins was horrible.

Oh, please it made around 4 million in ratings. You know they are bragging in the media, but behind closed doors that is not a drop in the bucket to what they are having to pay those Attorneys to fight Jon Gosselin, the bodyguards and staff for Kate Gosselin.

I just need something clarified.

So many people are comparing Jon's interview sessions with Kate's, and implying Jon's comments were inappropriate and "selfish" because he talking mostly about himself (moving to New York, etc.)

Isn't it true that Jon's interview sessions were, in fact, filmed earlier in the summer? So that means Jon wasn't discussing the end of the show at all. Given that information, doesn't this put a different light on the things he said?

Kate got the upperhand because Kate is playing the game. That was a smearfest against the father of children that shut the gravy train down. Whatever his intentions at least he did it. And, when greedy corporations decide they know what is better for kids then their own parents...they have crossed the line. And, Eileen Oneill, I am ready, willing and able to argue that point with you.

Very perceptive of you. I think you're totally right - he was not answering questions about the end of the show. His interviews were taped during the summer.

TLC so clearly wants to steamroll this poor schlub.

I'm still boycotting TLC and encouraging everyone I know to do the same. It's not hard - a lot of my friends and family think very poorly of the channel that shamelessly makes money from exploiting children. Exhibit A - J&K plus 8. Exhibit B - Toddlers and Tiaras. Exhibit C - 18 kids, etc... the list goes on and on. This channel falsely bills itself as celebrating large family when it is actually destroying them for profit.

Funny, how the court documents with TLC indicate Jon was not able to photograph his own children.~~~that is how limiting the contract is...but if you google the word Gosselin, 1,860,000 images and articles pull up.........So the whole world can photograph the kids, but the parents cannot. No wonder Kate had that camera out during filming so much.

Scroll down to the analyses of David Beckham. Look at the loving expression on his face while comforting his son. What a joy to see a real father. I never saw that loving, calm and tender expression from Jon or Kate.

Re the interviews during the final; episode. Remember Im sure that kate had many "takes" and lots of editing before we saw the finished product, as well as her PR team etc told her what to wear and it wouldnt surprise me if she was wearing an earpiece so she could be told how to respond and when to become emotional.

Jon on the other hand (and Im not defending kate in any way) really looked like a slob and acted very immaturely. I was surprised - he acted like a surly teenager - slouching in the chair etc.

My other remark - that I dont know that anyone mentioned - kate's remark that "it gave her the opportunity to "go to work" and take the kids will her". She really needs a reality check. There would have been no show without the kids - the kids were working not kate.

I am baffled that barbara walters would name her the most fascinating person for 2009. It really degrades the award that should be going to someone to really deserves it. There are many many single moms, going through very hard times and managing very well.

I read somewhere that they discussed kate on the view and how happy they are that the show is over. Unfortunately because I live in canada, I cant watch the show - has anyone seen it to know if this is true? How twofaced of barbara talking out of both sides of her mouth

This is really what is mostly being written now. I really don't know where TLC think they are going with KG its over. She did say one thing right all this was avoidable, but bc of Jon like she tried to convey, but because of all of them. It just doenst work like that.

Karenfromcanada I was baffled by Barbara Walters to when I found out....not anymore.

Jon is really the fascinating one. He stopped a multi-million dollar corporation right in its tracks. Of course, his contract will not allow for him to do any outside press or engagements without TLC permission. The kids are next, but the dad, stopped all filming, the dogs got exiled, so all that is left of the mess is the person Kate.

While Kate is bawling on camera about losing her tv career and fat paycheque, her children have to suffer the indignity of having their private lives made public, so much so that when when they leave home people are calling out their names and mentioning scenes from episodes, taking their pictures, shouting out terms of adoration and affection total strangers simply should not have... and even when the kids come home from school and report this discomfort to Kate she sneers and snarls and reminds them they got toys and a mansion out of it. Or maybe they have to share this stuff with the hired staff knowing it is of no use to talk to self absorbed narcisstic Kate. If there is a dime to be made off of these children on Thanksgiving or Christmas, Kate will have that angle covered. What a vile mother she is.

Tlc really did use the show to prove they have a vendetta over the father of the children stopping the filming. That 1st shot of the fence & the sign is proof.

The fire station footage was taped on Aug 25, the farm footage Sept 9. ~~evidence Paparazzi footage on Radaronline.

Jon's taped footage was not his most current statements or thoughts. TLC edited the worst of his couch interviews and exploited him to make Kate look like a selfless mother~ Bombshell she looked like a skunk, her thoughts & statements sounded like a skunk & the whole show stunk like a skunk.

LOL. You definately have your work cut out for you. I would not want to be in your shoes. Because there is no truth to be had for the layers & layers of lies have somehow been spun into the truth according to a lying channel. & the collateral damage is 8 kids.
