Jennifer Gladstone: Life after WBFF Fox-45

aaaa

In May, I wrote about Jennifer Gladstone's abrupt departure from the airwaves of WBFF Fox-45's morning news, and I have been getting emails and calls since asking for an update on where Gladstone has gone.

And so, I asked her if she wanted to let folks know what she is up to, and she was kind enough to send along this message:

"Ok, holidays are over, kids are back in school, and I finally have a minute to sit down and write something. Here goes...

Leaving Fox 45 was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through, but the posts on Z's blog have made it so much easier. I am incredibly touched by the people who have taken the time to write in, and your kind words have made me smile. Thank you!

Everyone asks if I am going to move on for a new job... which is what t.v. people normally do. The answer is no. My husband and I feel so at home in Baltimore. We love it here, and plan to raise our children here.  Hopefully there will be more opportunity for me in the future, but right now I am enjoying every second of being a stay-at-home mommy!

The thing I loved most about my job was connecting with people all over town. Thank you for watching!

 All the best,
 Jennifer Gladstone"

It seems as if Jennifer Gladstone has quite a few fans. I hope this helps answer their questions about what she is up to.

Mrs. Gladstone,
I wish you the very best. I think it is always win/win when life throws a curveball & you choose to embrace it and take some time to raise your family. I truly believe that God blesses those choices and it will be an experience you will never forget & pay dividends that no job will ever give.

Z,

Mrs. Gladstone had good things to say about the blog! I admire her for staying home with her family and in particular her children. I wish I would have been afforded that opportunity. I had to work after having my daughter's. But, good for Jennifer. She has her priorities in place. I wish her all the best to her in her decision. So important! GOOD LUCK Jennifer and family.

So good to hear that she is still around and we may have an opportunity to see her back on the air locally.

Jennifer you are good at what you do - I am sure we will see you back on the air in the not so distant future!

I was very upset to see Jennifer go. I used to watch Fox in the morning. After Jennifer left, I stopped watching. I just didn't like it anymore. I watch Fox Cable now.

Jennifer, Rhea Fiken will surely go out to pasture in another year or so after which you can fight it out with Sally for who will be the ne Grand Dame.
