WOW! All I can say is I am taking Z's advice. I can stop watching if Jon and Kate comes back on in August and I can use that time to make myself a better employee and mom. I need to get closer to God and find out what my purpose in life here is. I really can't waste anymore time of the circumstances of this family.

With all of the reporting from the beginning of this,has anyone looked into the business trips that Kate and the bodyguard were alone together? Hotel staffers see a lot. Just wondering.

I assumed Kate was moving closer to Rockville/Silver Spring for it's connection to Discovery. My guess is she's angling for work beyond the show and will try to work with Discovery to make that happen. Just a guess on my part. In a post +8 world, I'd put my money on Kate to make a career of it.

I think this family is evolving too fast to film and that TLC must be frantic. They have at least 6 episodes in the can that are already completely out of date. Maybe they should go live??

The original fan base has disappeared, and only the gawkers remain. How many of these will stick around to watch Kate pitch a tent or plant a garden? They filmed 3 episodes at the Smithsonian that will probably never be seen.

J&K are both scrambling to line up other gigs. Kate still has plenty of speaking engagements in the works, including the California Women’s Conference with Maria Shriver in California and all of the Southern Women’s Shows.

A new kitchen was installed in the Konpound to showcase her famous cooking skills and help sell the now defunct cookbook. They are going to show Kate having to do dishes in the bathtub during the renovation, but what the viewers aren’t aware of is that there is a full kitchen in the basement and another over the garage. What, she couldn’t cook, serve, and clean up in the basement all in one fell swoop? Nope, we will be viewing Kate in full martyr mode. The New Can Do Kate.

Jon is trying to get a new Divorced Dads reality show off the ground with Michael Lohan and it may find a small niche somewhere, but it won’t last. Kate is trying to get her own talk show, but in order to have a talk show you have to be able to actually listen to other people, and she can’t. She wants to be Martha Stewart, but she has no talent. (She is just as driven and just as narcissistic, though…)

Meanwhile, the kids… The poor little Dionne/Gosselin kids play in their driveway for the paparazzi, film in the house/production studio for TLC, and their parents drop by to visit. And the state of PA is too broke to even get the violation complaint off the ground. Breaks my heart...

Free the Gosselin 8, good job, I didn't even know about the cookbook. I didn't buy Six Little Faces and I won't. Unfortunately, I got Multiple Blessings for Christmas last year, but it won't mean a whole lot now.

That makes FIVE residences they maintain. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them, if not ALL, were paid by TLC/Figure 8 firm. This family is really intended on living off corporation donations.

Don't forget Jon once said they would contiune filming as long as the children were marketable. That is just sick. That was in an interview done in Utah 1 or 2 years ago.

Now we can blame Oprah for wasting our quality family time by thrusting this family upon us, and for giving us Barry Dunham who is now figuring out ways to take more money from us.

Yes, I will watch. Looking forward to it. I think an interesting angle will be to see Kate managing more as a single mom. Doing things Jon used to do (blow up tents, take care of the dogs, etc.). I am really not that interested in seeing much of Jon. As always, the kids are adorable.

Hopefully when this season's obligation is up, Kate can move on to other opportunities because it is pretty clear the 8 kids only have one parent who is capable of making money.

I'm not going to make Jon and Kate richer by watching their trash TV show and Kate sitting on the sofa and talking about how "hard" they work for their
piddly $75kplus per 30 minute episode. Any ordinary person who watches Jon and Kate must be desperate for a life. Some people have obviously let Jon and Kate brainwash them into the Gosselin web of deceit.

Kate taking care of the dogs? She's complained of them since day 1. It says alot about a person who hates animals. I will not watch this show ever again. Jon and Kate spend what money TLC pays them on themselves. It's all for the children? Trust Funds should have been established for them and all the money that's been made should be just for them. People don't want to see how the parents are spending it.

I have never watched the show, and do not plan on starting. From what I have read about the show, I have little doubt that the ratings will continue to improve. For the few people who have come to realize what a ruse the show was/is, there will be many many more mindless lemmings attracted to the show now. The media has turned these individuals (with their consent) into the vapid celebrity types that are idolized by the unwashed masses a la the octo-mom, Paris Hilton, the out of control teeny bopper singers, etc. What convinced me of this was a recent trip to the grocery store. While checking out, I noticed that their faces were on nearly every one of those trashy gossip magazines. I've also noticed stories about them on "real" news shows, but the line between news and celebrity nonsense was blurred a long time ago. Sadly in my opinion, the more tawdry the story becomes, the more people will watch. I hope I'm wrong.

Will those of you that think Kate is a saint, please reach out and find a way to pay attention to what you have so dilligently watched on TV? I have NEVER heard or seen such a demeaning, pompous, self-absorbed, gimme' person in my life! Three weeks out of the month she traveled (with her "bodyguard") and Jon took care of the kids! (Hmm-fired 40 nannies and nurses, wouldn't accept used or non-matching furniture, congregation not thrilled with HER, her own family are fed up with prims donna, one nanny got fired because she washed her hands in kitchen sink-the list is soooooo long)When she was with the kids, she was frustrated, and always in the poor me mode. The few times I watched, it was her trying to get something for nothing and personal gratification to make her body look better. At 3 mil a yr and every freebie offered from trips, liposuction, plastic surgery, clothes, toys and whatever-she scored BIG! Jon sat home and actually did things for the kids, now she plays the martyr and acts likes she does everything on her own. We were laughing during the BD party episode as she complained how she was going to do it on her own, etc. She had NEVER shown that much interest in her kids at anytime! As for the comment about Maddy-I agree whole heartedly-that girl needs some serious psychological help along with Kate. Kate is not the saint she is MARKETING herself to be-she's a cheat, liar and is using those kids to promote herself. TLC should be ashamed and anyone who continues to watch the show that subjects those children to further emotional abuse. There is a show on with parents with septuplets that is so real and funny -it is a joy to watch and the parents are FABULOUS! Let TLC know that they are enabling abusive emotional behavior by boycotting the show and let Kate get a real JOB! The woman can't cook, has fired capable help (oohhh-that's right-she's done it all on her own as she says) Her own family thinks she's worthless-go figure............

Truly to sad to watch. It seemed like they loved each other I enjoyed their banter. They both have great senses of humour and never I thought took themselves too seriously. How can a marriage unravel so fast. Wish we knew the real story and not just tabloid fodder. Is Jon just getting even? He is looking really bad right now, but only someone that has been hurt badly acts the way he is acting as it seems so out of character. I will watch the show because the kids are so funny. If they make it an All about Kate show I will change the channel

I know why I didn't get JB's post up above Jon's girlfriends name is Hailey (Glassman), all I could think of was Hillary Clinton, because of my OCD and being brain dead at work with nothing else to think about this bothered me all night long. But, I loved JB's comment and it doesn't matter because today it is Hailey and tomorrow it will be Hillary and who knows next, maybe he will break out of the mold with a Lisa.

I really have been disappointed in this show. I could see things that looked like red flags for potential problems but when they had the renewing their wedding vows show, I thought "All is well" That show certainly was a big fake. Oh well. Motherhood is hard. I don't think Jon should even be on the show, the way he is acting. If he truly cared about his kids, he wouldn't be flaunting his affairs all over for them to see. I don't even want to see him on the show.

I've always watched the show & it seemed they were a genuine, loving couple in the beginning,Kate has always been bitchy & I finally stopped watching in Jan, or thereabout., because of her mouth. BUT, NOW, JON is acting like a moron!! He says he never wanted this...but he sure is using it to act out his fantasies! He's using it to travel the world, shop in exlcusive stores, buy a Manhattan apartment (that cannot hold all his kids!), & generally running amok. I have absolutely no use for him now. He could have insisted on marriage counseling, sat down with Kate & tried to work things out. Instead, he files for divorce & goes to France with a girl way too young for him! I have to wonder what the senior Glassman's think of their daughter being in the middle of this! And, Mady? Mady is a brat who needs a spanking and THEN she needs counseling. And the episode we so heard about that Kate denied one of her kids water? Did anyone watch the video? Mady was whining & crying wanting off the set, then she wanted a drink (a typical ploy with a child) Kate asked for a bottle of water, leaned over to get it for Mady & they had to stop for the camera filming. I wasn't exactly like she is a monster who wouldn't give her child a drink. They weren't in the desert. Mady wasn't dying. Anyway, this is the biggest mess I've ever seen.And I don't have the answer.

This show was interesting when they were a struggling family of 10, living modestly, making ends meet by being frugal. It belonged on TLC then. Now, it's just stupid trash, with the youngsters being the ones who pay for everything. They should have stopped filming long ago. Shame on TLC!

How do they KNOW there is a full kitchen in the basement ? What site is this information from ? Are you someone whos been in the house ? This person states things they cannot prove side by side with things everyone ALREADY knows such as there was TALK of a talk show. NOT news. So they are setting up things for after the show. People arent happy they dont have jobs and they are trying for jobs after the show and people STILL arent happy. And me , I tuned in to watch her pitch a tent . The show has ALWAYS been about things like that . Sorry if that doesnt ENTHRALL you but some of us enjoy the children.
