Past Life: TV pilot filmed in Baltimore to be Fox series

It is unclear whether it will be on the fall schedule or serve as a midseason replacement, but Past Life, the pilot filmed in Baltimore this spring, has been picked up as a series by Fox, according to the trade publication Variety.

The series follows investigators who use clients' past lives to help solve their cases. Its tentative title during filming in Baltimore around such sites as the College of Notre Dame was Re-incarnation.

Fox will make the announcement Monday at its upfront presentation of next year's schedule to advertisers in New York.

While no announcement has been made, it does not appear that the series will be made in Baltimore. It is expected that Fox will say on Monday that the series is going to be filmed on location in Atlanta.

Here's a bit of the Variety story, and a link to the rest:

Fox has added the Warner Bros. TV drama "Past Life" to its tally of 2009-10 season pickups as it preps for Monday's upfront presentation in Gotham. Reincarnation-themed drama about a psychologist and an ex-NYPD homicide detective who team up to help people solve past-life traumas and present-day crimes comes from scribe David Hudgins. Cast includes Kelli Giddish, Nicholas Bishop, Richard Schiff and Ravi Patel.
