CBS News Boss Sean McManus this weekend on ZonTV

Tune in this weekend for more ZonTV.

I will be posting an interview with Sean McManus, the president of CBS News and Sports, who talks about the ways that NFL football contribute to the Sunday-night ratings success of 60 Minutes.

I will also have an interview with Greg Goldman, the executive producer of the new Fox reality series, Secret Millionaire, which premieres Dec. 3. Goldman talks about Baltimore contestant Molly Shattuck and the way his show connects with the troubled economic times in which we find ourselves today.

And any TV news that breaks, we will be here.

Great blog -- looking forward to next entry.

Douglas Gomery

Wow, this makes my day. It is a real emotional lift coming from one of my mentors who is currently the scholar in residence at the Library of American Broadcasting at the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to being an emeritus professor of journalism and the most published author on faculty at the time of his retirement, Gomery is the author of several important media books. His most recent, "A History of Broadcasting in the United States" is the new definitive work of radio and TV history. Thanks, Douglas. And I am sure you will let me know when you believe your student is getting it wrong. Z
