S. Palin must not have talked to her "best friend" of 30 years about actually being gay because she stated clearly that her "best friend of 30 yrs" made "A CHOICE" to be gay! Being gay is NOT A CHOICE! My son is gay so I know alot of really wonderful gay people, they haven't chosen this lifestyle - either you're born gay or not! People who protest talking about sex to me have the most problems sexually. Palin is just another ignorant woman; I am guessing she did not know about how babies were made until she was pregnant. Recently I have been talking to my friends in both parties, and I am getting more and more concerned, not about any particular flub or controversy on any particular candidate, but the fact that we and the media go ballistic over any little thing about them, and yet we seem to have NO unbiased reporting. Yes, I suppose I could go out to Arizona or Illinois or Alaska .myself. to check up on all the accusations that are flying around, but I can't. Why is abortion always brought up in elections and thought of as such an important topic. Since when has a politicians views on abortion ever swayed an election. It always brought up but never given a second thought while in the booth.

It offends me when I hear how women identify with Sarah Palin. I don't identify with her at all. I don't kill animals or eat mooseburgers, and I do not belong to NRA. I really believe she has set women back a hundred years. It scares the hell out of me that she could be VP, or even President, It is absolutely a scary thought. It is very interesting how many Republican men I know who think Palin is a perfect choice for VP. You can cite to them all her media gaffes, her fondness for killing animals for sport, her inexperience, her not obtaining a passport until a couple of years ago, her inability to name a newspaper she has read, her lack of knowledge concerning the "Bush Doctrine", her ignorance of the fact that people are born gay- they don't choose it, the fact that she has 5 children, one of whom has special needs and one who is a pregnant teen (which you would think would take up a lot of her time), the fact that she says she is for contraception but is against the morning-after-pill, (which by the way is just a high-dose birth control pill and not abortion), the fact that McCain chose her as VP after ONE DINNER and yet none of this fazes them in the slightest. She could literally say ANYTHING in an interview/debate and they would still praise her and blame the "liberal-media" journalist for asking a normal question. They then call women against Palin sexist. They are the ones who are sexist as they obviously know electing Palin would set women back 100 years.
