While we're on the subject of Padma ...

OK, so this link is from July, but I'm sharing it anyway.

Earlier, Justine linked to Rob Kasper's story on Top Chef contestant Jessie Sandlin's event last night, in which she dissed Padma Lakshmi. (Wow, big cast of characters in that sentence. I hope you followed.)

While we're on the subject, check out these clips of Padma playing an alien princess on Star Trek: Enterprise. Funny!

Too bad we can't see some embarassing clips of Tom too!

I used to be a big Star Trek fan. Padma speaking in the alien language with the translator box was too funny. If they can't come up with anything better I am not sure where this is going.

I think Padma IS an alien -- she's robotic! She really doesn't know anything about food, and she has no personality. There's absolutely no inflection in her voice! She's there because the producers are trying for a Heidi Klum profile, only for a food competition. Heidi is gorgeous, but she's also smart and knows fashion well, and she says interesting things. Padma just looks good. There's nothing else there. She's vapid.

I think "Ess in EC" might be Jesse from Top Chef?

Better yet see her nude scenes in Sharpe's Challenge with Sean Bean.

BTW there are great reviews of Top Chef by Richard Lawson on TV.com where he insists Padma is in fact a brain eating zombie.
