'Jon & Kate' Minus Me

Sorry, y'all, but when it came time to decide whether to watch Jon & Kate Plus 8 last night, I opted for sanity (aka a nice run at the gym).

And you know what? It was liberating, freeing, relaxing to not have that albatross on my shoulders.

Maybe the Gosselins should try it.

You didn't miss that much in my opinion. Emeril came by and cooked for the family, but there just seemed like there was a really down vibe throughout the whole episode. Emeril wasn't his usually larger then life self and they again barely focuses on the kids.

What was really sad was that at 9:30 they reran a past season episode where Jon cooked a Korean meal for the family. It was like night and day between the two episodes, where there was a lot of focus on the kids and how J&K worked with them together. They were joking with each other and there was such a happy vibe. After it was over I turned to my wife and commented how heartbreaking it is to see where that family has gotten to.

I wish I went to the gym instead of watching that train wreck of a show.

Actually it was the same old same old. Jon played the victim which he does so well.. Kate and Emerile carried the show, and we saw basically nothing from the kids.
