In case you missed it: Paula Abdul admits former drug addiction

I should have reported this earlier, but the regular day's work kept me on my toes. Seems Paula Abdul is going to sing her new single tomorrow night on American Idol, and in advance of that, she's coming clean about her former addiction to painkillers.

Despite what many have speculated, she says she was never on Idol under the influence.

You can read the New York Post's article here.

Thank you, Paula, for telling us what America has always known.

I do not believe that she has never been high on Idol.

At the same time, she also has serious medical issues -- I am A-OK if she takes painkillers as long as the use of them is controlled.

....O who cares.....she basically is a decent person...not like that slimeball Limbaugh...speaking of which..does he really have any listeners left?

It's good to hear that Paul Abdul has now stopped using painkillers, and she has defeated the addiction. The road to sobriety is now within her reach.
