'Dancing with the Stars': Third couple eliminated Tuesday night

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and partner Mark Ballas were cut from Dancing with the Stars last night. I think America was wise to kick the duo to the curb; Kim, try as she might, is just not cut out for dancing. Foxtrot, mambo, rumba. Three strikes, she's out. The drawn-out results show also featured some crooning by another former reality TV star -- Jessica Simpson. That I could have done without. What do you think of the results?

As much as I like Cloris I believe she should of have been the one that left. this it's any place for an 82 yr for a woman her age.
I would have liked to see Kim go at least one more week & give it one more try.
Susan seems very guarded & dances in slow motion for some reason. the only reason she has been able to stay on is her large fan base from the soap that she has been in forever. some of the dancers really go all out & dance their hearts out. I would like to see more of that.

Its nice to know our country is getting back on track as far as whats right and whats wrong. Although i am sad and disappointed because the hottest girl on the show is no longer on there, its good to see she didnt stay on just because she is so foxy. I mean the older lady danced better then her and although 10 times out of 10 you would rather look at kim in a nice half made dress, she CANT DANCE which is the name of the show..maybe they will come out with a show "So You Think You Can Stand There and be Pretty" and she will have better successs!

I was surprised that Cloris Leachman was allowed to stay for another week. Overall, I thought the results show was rather boring and pointless, they could have done it all in 15 minutes instead of an hour.

It was like a So You Think You Can Dance crossover last night!

There's already Lacey Schwimmer who was a finalist on the Fox dance show.

Then, the two pros who danced during Jessica Simpson's first song were Pasha and Anya, also from SYTYCD.

Plus, Brian Friedman, the choreographer for the Stars of Dance segment, was a judge and choreographer on SYTYCD, too.

I didn't know the shows were so friendly.

Also, I'm thrilled Kim Kardashian is gone. She was terrible, no personality or likeability whatsoever.

These DancingWithTheStars shows are not real ballroom dancing. The stars are learning to showoff and do steps that they are not qualified to perform. They come out in the skimpiest gowns with their breasts pushed up and who are they impressing? The judges I bet could not dance themselves in their younger days as good as some of these stars.

However, if any one who taken and been involved in real ballroom dancing classes and competitions knows that the normal person learns to dance approximately one to two hours a week in class and maybe a few hours practicing what they learned at a social dance.

It takes months and longer to perfect a group of steps and do them well.

This is just a TV show and though it does stimulate the average person to maybe take some lessons and get involved with this wonderful hobby, it can also deter others thinking they never can do as well as these 'stars" and so they never enter the dance world. People who are voting due to the popularity of the star and not on how well they actually dance should not be voting at all.

This taking lessons for 6-7 hours a day for 3-4 days is not normal learning. Elita S.Clayman Baltimore, Md

In the show on Tuesday night, they had a special performance with about 10 dancers in black. What was the song called?

I second your comments, sarahkk.
When are you back from maternity leave???

Elita, no one ever suggested that anything about this show was "normal"!
