'Dancing with the Stars': Ted McGinley voted off Wednesday night

I'm not too into results shows. I think they're generally boring and a waste of time. And I didn't really want to see the Jones Brothers perform. So I'll keep this simple and sweet.

Think of Married with Children's theme song: Love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage. But Ted McGinley and dancing go together like oil and vinegar. The actor who played neighbor Jefferson D'Arcy on the sitcom was kicked off Dancing with the Stars last night. Not a big surprise considering A) his dancing has been less than stellar B) I'm pretty certain he doesn't have a huge fan base. I'm just glad Cloris Leachman is sticking around.

Of course, the other issue is that Ted McGinley tends to be poisonous for a show's ratings, to the extent that he's actually a common peg to hang "Jumping the Shark" on. So perhaps it's just as well that he's out.

i think someone is pulling some strings there is no way the old lady out dance ted she is so bad and so rude she should not be on that show .

i was there. He is an incredible athlete, his foot work was so wonderful and his attitude was killer. HE WAS HAVING A GREAT TIME!

Claude... mean spirited comment about Ted.

Jackie... about Cloris... she does have a long fan list. We'd watch anything she's on... she's always guaranteed to be a hoot. The people voted her to stay for entertainment value. Just not your cup of tea I guess.
