'Big Brother 10': Long live the Renegades!

Guest blogger Patrick Gutierrez is ready for the BB10 finale. Are you? Catch up with his recap and observations:

When we last left the house, Dan, Memphis and Jerry were standing on the wings of airplanes in Part 1 of the final HOH competition.

Not surprisingly, Jerry was the first to fall. It looked like Dan and Memphis' plan to keep the old-timer over Keesha was working to perfection.

Dan ended up winning Part 1 and automatically advanced to final round. That left Memphis and Jerry to battle it out in Part 2.

Their game was physical and mental. Each contestant was outfitted with a pair of boxing gloves and stood in a makeshift corner. When the bell rang, cardboard cutouts of all Season 10 house guests sprang up in a row 10 yards in front of them. The goal was to punch out all the house guests except for the HOH and two nominees for the week. Round 1 was week one, Round 2 was week two, and so on, for 10 rounds.

Memphis and Jerry went separately, and then their times were compared. Memphis finished in less than nine minutes; Jerry took nearly an hour. He voiced his embarrassment at his performance that all but sealed his fate, although he still seemed to believe Memphis might take him to the final two if he beat Dan.

In the Part 3 Q&A, Dan and Memphis squared off as they tried to guess which answer jury members gave to a particular question. Dan took the early lead and held off Memphis to win his third HOH of the season.

At the nomination ceremony, Dan sent Jerry packing to complete the Renegades' plan that was hatched in Week 4.

Dan and Memphis are the last two standing. We will find out Tuesday who is crowned Big Brother champion.

Thoughts: Once again, a two-person alliance made it to the end: Dick and Danielle, Adam and Ryan, and now Dan and Memphis. When will people learn? It's hard enough making it through the game without having to battle two-person teams. Break 'em up!

I predict a landslide win for Dan. He played a near-perfect game. It seems that every competition he tried to win, he did. He even did America's bidding for a week and got away unscathed. It doesn't get much better than that.

One of the jury members is going to win $25,000 based on America's vote. Go here and vote for Renny! Also, if you want to audition for Big Brother 11, you can get details there as well.
