'Big Brother 10': April, Jerry up for eviction

Patrick Gutierrez on Big Brother 10:

With Libra gone, the house is now evenly split. Keesha, Renny, Memphis and Dan are on one side, while Jerry, Ollie, April and Michelle make up the opposition. Of course, with Renny as HOH, April's alliance will most likely be one person lighter after this week.

Privately, Renny is worried about Keesha's relationship with Memphis. She quizzed her about it, but Keesha played it off like there was nothing there. Meanwhile, April is already plotting her campaign against Jerry should the two be nominated.

Renny broke down crying when she saw vintage pictures of her parents in her HOH room, and afterward the house had fun beating up on April's toy dog outside.

Ollie is convinced his relationship with April is real and has long-term potential, even jokingly asking her to marry him as they snuggled in bed together.

Michelle and Renny had a long chat about the game, and Michelle promised not to put her up next week, essentially ensuring her safety this week.

During the food competition, the house divided into two teams and played a disgusting game of rock, paper, scissors but they were using slop, crickets and pig ears. In this game, slop beat pig ears, pig ears beat crickets and crickets beat slop. Players took turns squaring off, with each person privately selecting a food he would eat. The winner would then have to eat that food to earn his team a point. The first team with four points woiuld get food for the week, while the losers would get slop.

Dan won the first round vs. Memphis when he chose crickets over Memphis’ slop. Dan ate his crickets and earned his team a point, as did Michelle. Jerry got his team on the board by eating pig ears and Memphis followed suit, tying the game at 2-2. Michelle’s pig ears beat Dan’s crickets so after she was finished eating them, her team was up 3-2. April sealed the win for the her team when she, a vegetarian, chose and ate the pig ears that topped Jerry’s crickets.

Renny seemed unsure about who to nominate alongside April and talked it over with her group, who implored her to choose Ollie or Jerry. She talked privately with Ollie to find out where he stood.

At the nomination ceremony, Renny nominated April and Jerry, with April clearly being her target for the week. Let the POV battle begin!

Thoughts: If Renny wants April out this week, she would've been better off putting her up against Ollie. Nobody is going to vote Ollie out, but a case could be made for evicting Jerry. April is going to be making that case all week.

I believe Keesha and Memphis have designs on going to the end together. Somebody better break that pair up -- they look like the power couple right now.

Dan continues to fly under everyone's radar. We'll see how much longer he can keep that up ...

" well...Jerry ate slop because he almost barfed it up several times...and michelles and dan were on thew same team, so her pig ears did not beat Dan's crickets, it was ollie's crickets
