Another boneheaded move on 'Survivor'
So last week on Survivor, Ozzy held onto his hidden immunity idol that everyone knew he had and then got voted out, right?
And then this week, Jason gets sent to Exile Island, where the idol has been rehidden, and he finds it, and he knows that he almost got voted out last week, but he doesn't play it? Are you kidding? He's in this season because he's a fan, so it's not like he's not familiar with the game. And, uh, he was there last week when the exact same fate befell Ozzy, who had much better standing in the tribe than Jason did. Dumb dumb dumb.
But entertaining!
So it seems the women are now running this game. Too bad they're playing like middle-schoolers. I can't stand Parvati, and Natalie and Alexis don't do much for me, either.
If I were Amanda, I would team up with James and Erik and try to convince Cirie that she is obviously No. 4 in that mean-girls alliance and form a foursome to take out those three.
It's definitely been interesting the past couple of episodes. Certainly more than I expected it to be, since early on it seemed like the fans were going to go down in flames.
Have you been watching? What's your take?

Comments
I'm so glad you are commenting on Survivor again. After you missed a couple of weeks I thought you were giving up on the show. I know it's not as popular as it once was, but there are still some watchers, aren't there?(Speak up out there watchers & readers!)
As you said, it's getting more interesting since some of the faves have been voted out. If not Amanda, then James should take the initiative and try to team up with Erik, Amanda & Cirie. Cirie & Amanda have to know that they are on the outside looking in to the "girl club". Yes, the 5 girls can vote out the last 2 guys, but then they have to start voting each other out and those 2 have to know that they will be next in line. Of course, almost nothing on Survivor goes as planned(although the recent ousters of Jason & Ozzie have carried through as planned). On some past seasons, there have been a majority of girls to guys at times, but the girls always let one or two strong guys make the calls. Although this is not my favorite group of girls(as you stated, very middle/high school acting), I would like one season where the girls call the shots instead of the guys. I can take Cirie or Amanda winning, but the others are definitely---to quote Sue Hawk---snakes & rats! I look forward to more of your commentary throughout the rest of the season!

Also, re: Jason & Ozzie not using the hidden immunity idols....didn't either one of the see the season when James had 2 and still went down in flames???!!!! I know Ozzie had no reason to think he was going out, but Jason.....what was he thinking??

Hey Sarah!
Great job as always! Jason is a moron and should have played the idol just to cover his butt.
But the bigger sinner is Amanda, who has yet to learn how to make a strategic move by herself after getting burned in exactly the same manner last season.
As for the controller, I still think Cirie is in the best position. She's getting her thoughts across and not getting any credit -- which, in this case, is good for her because Natalie and Parvati have the big targets on their back.
Keep up the great work!

Amanda missed her chance last week when she could have flipped, gotten the guys on the same page and gone after any one of the other three girls. She didn't need Cirie's cooperation at that point. Now if she teams up with the guys, she's got to convince Cirie that she isn't just #4 in that alliance, too.
You would assume the Exile Island immunity idol will likely get rehidden again. But you have to think that there a twist coming there, too.
Thursday is such a great television night! Thank god for Tivo.
