More on being kegless

In response to posts by Eric and Elite Elephant Lover about losing my keg, let me say I think it was an honest mistake.

I have ordered kegs at the Wine Source before and have had no trouble.  What happened this time, I surmise, was that I ordered the keg from workers on one shift, and the word or paperwork did not reach the next shift. So in effect there was a keg sitting in the cooler without an owner. It got sold.

So it goes. I have made plenty of mistakes in my career  and in this case the Wine Source guys quickly admitted the error and helped me find replacement canned beers.

As for the celebrity ploy, that act doesn't fly, especially in a town like Baltimore.

Just so everyone knows, the micros can sell kegs on a Sunday. We often have customers pick up their kegs for BBQ's and tailgating on Sundays. Plus all kegs are filled per order so you allways get the freshest beer possible. Rob you can call me at Red Brick Station anytime to order your keg of choice.

Rob, I applaud your attitude. In my instance I didn't get upset either. Mistakes happen by everyone. Society as a whole needs to take a few steps bakwards and chill out. If something is not life, death or limb it can be replaced in other ways. We all need to kick back and have a few. CHEERS!

Now I am more confused than ever with liquor laws in Maryland. Micros can sell beer but wineries can't sell wine. Since I love the Daily Crisis IPA at Red Brick Station I will certainly keep this in mind.

I must also concur. Things happen, and unfortunately they sometimes happen to our beer. But such is life, and as Jr Copper says, let's just kick back and have a few!

Rob,
Wonderful save!
Yuengling is always a nice fall-back.
