Corkboard: St. Patrick's Day in Baltimore
St. Patrick's Day is around the corner.*
There will be scores of options that day - our bar database alone lists some 35 Irish pubs in the area.
Each one of them will have some kind of celebration, even if it's just a dying their drinks green. See FindLocal for Baltimore St. Patrick's Day events (more coming, so check back).
And there will be scores of specials - junky ones and very good ones.
So, where to go? Who has the cheapest specials? Who makes the best shamrocks?
Let's make the comments below the depository for all-things-St.-Patrick's-Day in Baltimore. Leave your suggestions below.
*It's on March 17, by the way.

Baltimore.org has a nice compilation of events, descriptions, and links above. It's what I'm using to map out my St Patty's day festivities.

St. Patty's + NCAA Tourney = major crowds. Should be a good day for bar owners.

Rumor has it that the Canton bars who have tents outside won't have them through the weekend because they're only allowed to have their permit for two days... so Thursday and Friday.
I'm hoping the festivities continue through the weekend, tents or not!

And even though it's not an Irish pub, I'm a big fan of Muggsy's for St. Patty's day.

Blarney Stone in Fells. No green beer crap but plenty of Guinness, Jameson, and real poitin. Put some Pogues on the jukebox and avoid the fratboy bar crawls.
