Corkboard: what are Baltimore's best Terps bars?

We've gone down this path before with Ravens bars. Go to Mother's or Pickles Pub or one of the Greene Turtles.

If you're an Eagles fan, it's Magerks. Fan of the Lions? Mad River.

But where do you go if you're a Terp? In light of Sunday's Maryland-Duke game, a reader wants to know.

He writes, "is there a place that specifically looks to create that sort of [fan] atmosphere for Maryland games?"

My first hunch was to ask the Terps in the newsroom. There are a couple of them here - a two-headed hydra by the name FentonSessa, for starters - but they coudn't tell me where to go.

I called Turp's too, but despite the alliterative possibilities, the bartender I spoke with didn't make it sound like the best place for die-hards.

The bar will likely show the game, but the bartender noted that if it isn't on, patrons can request to switch the channel.

This seemed like a good time to bring back the Corkboard feature.

So, what are are Baltimore's best bars to watch the Sunday's game?

Any of the 3 Looney's without a doubt..Always on with sound, always a crowd & always a good time!!

The Comcastle for home games, my basement for away games. A few years ago, I went out for Terps games, but Bmore has some dumb fans that go out.

I would have to go with Muggsy's, owner is a Maryland Alumnus. Good place to go and watch the game and have a good beer or two.

Didn't know the Detroit Lions fans gathered at Mad River. Awesome. I'll have to go there for their games next season.

Don't know about Baltimore but Bull on the Beach in OC is a huge Terps bar
