Witch house begets slut-wave. Thank Katy Perry
Even before this year's fake music memes totally died, someone's gone ahead and anthologized a new one. Just as you were starting to read about witch-house and chill-wave, popular tumblr Hipster Runoff went ahead and coined the term slutwave earlier this year to describe the collective works of, ahem, sexually assertive singers Katy Perry, Kesha and Rihanna. Rolling Stone picked up on it and called it fake music genre of the year earlier this month. Well, this was inevitable. Now, something called Complex has made a list of the 25 greatest slutwave songs ever. Not one to judge, I salute you traffic-baiting Complex bloggers. The list goes back as far as 1982, and, clocking in at number one? Kesha's "Blah Blah Blah." Indeed.

No mention of Liz Phair?! I call BS! "H.W.C." beats anything on that list.

When I made my last comment I had no idea your next post was about Liz Phair. That's cool she is touring...not.
