I've been leery of plugging the Films on the Pier in Fells Point these past few weeks, because it's always been overcast. Well, since we're just about at the end of the season, I say why not?
Tonight's screening is of "500 Days of Summer" a charming flick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (who has really come into his own as a star lately) and Zooey Deschanel (who is quite the singer).
The movie starts at 8:45 p.m. in the heart of Fells Point. Have fun!

The blog is starting to get really heavy on the "Get Out" and concert reviews.

Agreed. Hopefully its just a summer slow period or something, but the blog has been on a downward slope. Used to be must read, now it's generally quite uninteresting.

Agreed, used to be some good info here, lately its ads for bars/events. While those are all well and good, I liked when we were getting actual nuggets about the baltimore scene, good and bad, not a review of every show a sun staffer or sessa comrade went to.
Get Out: Take a walk in your 'hood and enjoy the last days of summer.
Get Out: there is a fair apparently in Timonium soon.

Chill out, guys, I'm on vacation. It's bad enough that I'm blogging/posting comments -- I'm not going to take 3-4 hours and write 3-4 awesome posts every day of my vacation. I'll be back Monday. Till then, you're gonna haveta deal.

Dude, I didn't miss the Taps auction. I knew it happened yesterday, but I've been on vacation and was nowhere near South Baltimore when it happened. There was never a formal blog post about it because people commented on it all over the place, and I didn't feel the need to write one. Still, I was planning on calling Mark McFaul, who I hear bought the place, talking to him and writing a blog post for today -- even though I'm on vacation.
