John Stamos will join Beach Boys for Pier Six show
On the fence about tomorrow's Beach Boys show?
Here's a little more motivation: Actor John Stamos will be banging the drums with the Beach Boys at Pier Six Pavilion.
Stamos, aka Uncle Jesse, has played with the Beach Boys on and off for decades.
Remember that sunny, sandy late '80s hit "Kokomo?" Stamos played percussion in the music video. It's pretty funny to watch.
"I'm stoked, especially because I grew up watching "Full House," said venue publicist Nicole Parsons. "Basically it's going to be an interesting show having him."
There's only one original Beach Boy in this incarnation of the '60s pop group: Mike "chip on his shoulder" Love.
Anyway, I expect attendance to double based on Stamos' star power.

Awesome!!! We were just talking about this last night while coming up for the drinking game for next week's Mondo Baltimore. We're Screening "Never Too Young to Die", featuring Stamos as a gymnast/secret-agent, and Gene Simmons as a transvestite killer.
I think the consensus was that if Stamos was going to be at this BB show, it might actually be worth attending.
Mike Love makes me angry, though.
