My colleague Laura Vozzella wants to make you famous. Here's Laura.
I'm not writing about a bar or a nightclub, but about an unusual fashion accessory that some people wear to bars and night clubs, so it kinda, sorta fits on a nightlife blog. At least I’ve convinced Sam as much.
The accessory in question is a new type of oversized contact lens that makes the eyes look larger. They’re like conventional tinted contacts, but the tinted part is larger than usual, extending over the whites of the eyes ...
Lady Gaga wears them, so you know it’s a good idea.
Doctors are concerned that the contacts, ordered from overseas because they don’t have FDA approval, might damage the eyes.

I do I know this isn't some sort of sting, devised to get a hold of my Chinese oversized contact dealer? Not this time, Woodward!
