Happy 5th of July!
Yesterday might have technically been the holiday, but today's the real one for me. Three day weekend!
I hope everyone had a happy, hearty and heart-healthy Fourth of July yesterday. What did you do? Where did you watch the fireworks? Did you even watch the fireworks at all? I drank an ice cold glass of apple juice and played a rousing game of pinochle. Ain't that America, home of the free!
I'd imagine with such great weather this weekend, places like Little Havana, Bay Cafe and Tiki Barge were slammed. This was the first time in four or five years that I didn't get to see the Inner Harbor fireworks. How were they?
My plan is to spend today doing as little as possible. I need a day of recovery, stat. In fact I might just go back to bed right about ...

I watched my neighbors set off lots of very and completely legal fireworks.
Totally legal.
