Sorry for not posting as much as I'd like to lately, gang. I've been putting together the second annual Best of the Best of the Best Awards, which has been eating up all my spare time.
At last, they are complete. All will be revealed in tomorrow's Live! section (it's the cover story).
Right now, I'm going to share a few of the categories with you, and I want you to nominate some bars and clubs for what you think they should win (vote by leaving a comment).

best happy hour buffet:
don't go to too many places with a free buffet, but one that's relatively unknown is Marie Louis Bistro has free wings on most HH nights
best dance parties:
ottobars 2-for-1 friday dance party.

what's the time span on "new". I wouldn't classify Tiki Barge as a great bar as I wouldn't call the guy with the cart at every table in my wedding party a bar or the kiosks with 3 beers at Artscape. It's a great new place but just like the ice bar, 4 bottles of liquor doesn't equate to a great "bar".
I haven't seen a happy hour buffet in forever and I don't dance so I'l just point out that I like the lil bar inside Kumari Indian restaurant "Funky Bddha" where everything is $5 all the time. Top shelf, mixrs, anything, besides beer which is cheaper. It may be a tiny place but if you want to get loaded...
