Smashing Pumpkins to play Rams Head Live

billy corrigan of the smashing pumpkinsAlt-rockers Smashing Pumpkins are coming to Rams Head Live July 12.

Tickets, which will cost $45, will be on sale in the coming days. I'll let you know when the exact on sale date is posted.

The Rams Head show is one of a dozen-show run, which sees the band performing a mixture of old and new tunes in smaller-than-usual club spaces.

The last time the Pumpkins were in town was for the 2007 Virgin Mobile Fest (pictured).

I think sale date is Thurs, June 10 at noon. Saw that on the Rams Head email notification.

Remember when the Beastie Boys played at Rams Head, and their computer system crashed? Hopefully this problem will be fixed. Should be a great show.

Can we have a Baltimore themed contest to win tickets?

Maybe I'm getting old but I just can't handle sold out shows at Ram's Head. So much of the layout has no view of the stage that everyone has to be overstuffed onto the floor. I wish there were some way of fixing that issue.

I just got two tickets and they sold out already. They didn't have a limit on tickets like the Beastie Boys show. Just hope that everybody else was able to get them in a fair way.

Sold out in less than 10 minutes.

At 12:06 it was sold out. I bought mine at 12:00 on the nose.

Got my ticket right at 12:00 as well, and saw it was sold out by the time I completed the order. I bet it will go back up later today like it did for Beastie Boys

Yep, already back up for sale now

Sold out at 12:41.

I think it said you had a 30min window to complete your order, so I guess tickets could reappear that often.

There are still tickets available. I wish I knew how the system worked, but oh well. Just in case if anybody still wants to purchase them.

Showing Sold Out for me. There may be a ticket here or there that pops up as peoples' carts clear. But that will take a bit of luck to catch.
