Name That Bar, vol. 22

name this bar!I wanted to shake it up a bit for this latest edition of Name That Bar, our popular, uh, bar naming contest.

So instead of posting a photo of the inside of a place and asking you to name it, I went with a photo of the outside of a place.

In this picture, an unidentified man is tugging at the doors of our mystery bar, but they won't open. Why? The mysteries multiply.

Be the first to Name This Bar, and tell me why the doors won't open, and you'll win a prize.

As always, I won't publish any comments until tomorrow morning, to give everyone a chance to play.

Canton Arts and Entertainment

Canton Arts and Entertainment

Canton Arts and Entertainment (or what ever it is called now) and it is closed.

CAE! CAE!,+Baltimore,+MD&geocode=CU-sL5VzVNzvFZheVwIdZK5v-ynNFccxigPIiTEgby9YOD0usQ&q=canton+arts+and+entertainment&f=l&sll=39.277912,-76.572561&sspn=0.006245,0.00927&ie=UTF8&hq=canton+arts+and+entertainment&hnear=&ll=39.282609,-76.583536&spn=0,0.000579&t=h&z=20&layer=c&cbll=39.282676,-76.583644&panoid=MF8u095__BezZEjJsci-Ig&cbp=12,51.86,,2,8

and why...

The doors won't open because it's Canton Arts and Entertainment!

The Bar Formerly Known as Canton Arts and Entertainment

canton arts & entertainment

It's Canton Arts & Entertainment and it's CLOSED.

i think that used to be hookah's, but i know that closed, and now it has some sort of name like the canton arts district or something

It's Canton Arts and Entertainment...and they are not open for business.

Kind of looks like the outside of Canton Arts and Entertainment.

Oh, and I think the doors won't open because the place closed down.

Baja Beach Club? Because it's closed?

Canton Arts/Rare Soul, Not open yet

Canton Arts and Entertainment

Canton Arts and Entertainment...its closed for "renovations"

Thats Canton arts and Entertainment right there. But it might be something else tomorrow.

Rare Soul...because it's not open yet!

Kasbah/Canton Arts & Entertainment--it's closed.

Canton Arts & Entertainment. Why are the doors locked? Because it was only open for 2.5 seconds. Arts and Entertainment is a very confusing name for a bar. It sounds like a museum or community center. That location is already tough enough without the confusing name. I hope I'm right on this one.

Canton Arts and Entertainment!

canton arts & entertainment, because they closed.

Canton Arts and Entertainment. I've never seen someone try so hard to get into that place.

Looks like the outside of Canton Arts & Entertainment. Doors won't open because it's closed, because barely anyone opened the door when it was open!

Canton Arts and Entertainment.
Because its closed!

Is it Canton Arts and whatever?
And the doors wont open cause its outta bizznezz!!!

hmmmm... Is that the old Hummers/Canton Arts & Entertainment place thingy?

Canton Arts & Entertainment

It looks like Canton Arts and Entertainment, and the doors won't because it is probably out of business already.

Canton Arts and Entertainment

Canton Arts and Entertainment.
They have closed.

Cockeysville Library?

Canton Arts and Entertainment. AKA - Guttmans.

And the doors won't open because that place is a black hole from which not even light (beer) can escape.

ESPN zone. won't open because they're out of business now!

the yet-unopened, despite the yes-we're-open signage, rare soul

looks like the old Canton Arts and Entertainment complex to me

the old baja beach club. wont open b/c it's closed, as in, not in business anymore.

I think it's and easy one.

The doors won't open because its 7:30PM on a saturday and they decided its a good time to close a bar. The awesomest bar in town!

The Former Canton Arts & Entertainment with some reporter refusing to let go that they're closed.

Huckas/ Canton Arts and Entertainment?

Is it that stupid Canton Arts and Entertainment place that closed down?

I'm guessing the doors won't open because they are locked, because someone doesn't know what to do with that big of a space. Or they just simply ran out of money.

canton arts and entertainment. because it's closed.

Canton Arts & Entertainment, doors won't open because they are supposed to be reorganizing, although they said it would be back open by now.

Canton Arts and Entertainment...another victim of Boston Street or possibly just a bad business model..

Is it Canton Arts and Entertainment? That place lasted all of 5 minutes, so that's why it would be shut down. You know, if that's the bar and such.

Canton Arts and Entertainment

Caton Arts and Entertainment whatever.... locked up since it folded.

Canton Arts and Entertainment...It's all kind of closed after a fine month of being open.

B&O cuz the doors open on the stairs?

Is that the old Hookah's on Boston St? I think it's called Canton Fine Arts or something like that. The doors won't open because it has two entrances and the person is at the wrong one.

canton arts and entertainment...doors won't open because CAE fell victim to the curse of that building... (and poor management/decor/food/etc from what i hear)

Canton Social club, or whatever it was called. it had three bars in it. on boston st. is closed down supposedly to take it's customers advise on how to improve, but then never reopened.

If the jilted bar patron in the photo is Sessa, then this place clearly has a No-Sessas policy.

Could it be FüL?

Canton Arts and Entertainment - doors won't open because the bar is closed!! Right? Right?

Name that bar, vol 22.

It's Rare Soul in Canton and it's not open yet.

Looks like Canton Arts and Entertainment on Boston Street to me!

This must be from the "soft opening" that you were not allowed entrance to! Were you allowed to attend the hard exit after this place flopped!!

I believe this is Canton Arts and Entertainment. The doors won't open because the place closed due to poor marketing, concept and a bad name.

Canton Arts and Entertainment...or that new one, Soul or Soul Live?

Canton Arts and Entertainment

(the former) Canton Arts & Entertainment

...and hte doors won't open because of the whole "former" part. And because that building is cursed (see Water St. Grille, Hucka's, etc).

As is the building next to it, (see Kamp, and whatever the name of the swingers bar was.)

the old canton arts and entertainment

guess it is downtown & doors are PUSH not pull...may be it is the push not pull bar

885 Lounge on Howard Street?

885 Lounge - because it has yet to open? only reserved for private affairs right now.

Canton Arts and Entertainment

You win, JTK!!!

@kateebee - I was all over that one.
