Live music, huh? I hope they'll be hiring original bands from the Baltimore area.

Been to this place before. If you like to be treated like s**t then this is your spot. This is one of those insult you for fun bars. Really nice idea for the drunk, affliction wearing crowd in Baltimore.

??? And yet Baltimoreans rail against Milan and Pur (RIP)...How many of these lame, generic chain bars or "Patty O'Swilligan's" can you fit at the Harbor, let alone in Baltimore??

@ Anonymous: I believe the space was powerdogs a few years ago, and has been empty since. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was 07ish that it was last used.
powerdogs was pretty mediocre of a hotdog stand type place.

I'm fully in favor if this!
Sounds like a great place for Yankee/RedSox fans to congregate on game days so they can stay far away from my favorite bars.

I think I went to one of these in the Flats in Cleveland. It was all fun and games until they threw peanuts at me.

Do you think the bar on Philadelphia Road, Dick's Halfway Inn, will have a problem with this place? Or will Dick's Last Resort have a problem with Dick's Halfway Inn? I guess the real question is -- Which Dick came first?

Well, one is only half way in....
Posted by: Stagger Lee | May 26, 2010 9:55 AM
@WiseLisa- it all depends on which Dick is bigger;)

This is jusr what Balt. needs. A family type place to feed the hungry tourist as well as the locals, and a FUN place which will have acoustic acts as well as full bands on the weekend. Located in the power plant a great location near Candem Yards and Emitt Banks stadiums. Menu won't break you and it's a hilarious place with all kinds of suprises. You have to check it out!

@Dutch -- That's good. One of the qualities I for in a restaurant is that its menu won't break me. I hate being broken.
