Don't Know Tavern's new beers

A few weeks back, we gave our suggestions for the three new draft beers at Don't Know Tavern. Jason Z (a frequent commenter) listened to our ideas. Here are the three beers he went with, which are currently on tap ...

1. Heavy Seas Loose Cannon

2. Flying Dog Raging Bitch

3. Evolution "Lucky 7"

All three are delicious brews. I love Loose Cannon, and I'm also a fan of Raging Bitch.

I had Lucky 7 for the first time a couple weeks ago at the Cat's Eye Pub. Evolution is a newish brewery based out of Delaware. Lucky 7 has an easygoing blend of coffee and chocolate notes. After a pint, it's clear the folks at Evolution are off to a good start.

Wow - nice choices.
I was afraid at least one would be a macro brew. Good to see the locals represented (love Loose Cannon) and I'll definitely have to get over there to check out the Evolution - don't think I've come across that before.
Jason - thanks for asking for our input and going with some good stuff!

You're a good man Jason Z

P.S: congrats on putting on just about the best beer that each of these local breweries has to offer. Very cool stuff. Looking forward to heading to Don't Know soon.

Perfect timing! I'll need a Raging Bitch after what will likely be 3+ hrs of cleaning my rowhouse later today. Takes one to drink one! It'll be nice to see Jason again and yell "How 'bout those Mountaineers?!!"

Fair to mention that Evolution is only in Delaware by about 500 yards. They fully intended to open in Salisbury but got the run-around from local bureaucrats. To my way of seeing things, its an Eastern Shore establishment, at least in spirit.
