I really like this idea, Sam. Good call!
My patronage is available for sale to the highest bidder. ;) I am so pumped for this game, and I don't think my nerdy JHU neighbors will appreciate the screaming that will definitely ensue.

My 21st birthday, many years ago, was spent watching a Maryland - Duke game at the Green Turtle. MD eventually won in OT and the atmosphere in the Turtle was great. Decent sports bar to watch any local game...especially a Terps game at home vs Duke on senior night.

Hummers in Canton is a good place to watch the game. It's become my neighborhood spot.
$1 Coors Light and Yuengling drafts. 2 for 1 for the laaaadies.
Join me, won't you?
And JZ, good call on the sound. It must be on for me. I won't watch a game at a place that doesn't have the sound on.

Great idea, can you do a similar post for the Faceoff Classic pre/post game this weekend?

Muggsy's Mug House!!! one of the owners there is a Maryland alumni so if any Terps sport is televised he's got it on tv LAX, Soccer, Girls Volleyball. and yes the sound is on even when they're not televised 105.7 the fan echoes through the stereo, like this football season only 3 televised games seriously? as for specials anyone who rocks Terps gear gets $2 domestic bottles all night, 1/2 off Specialty Dogs and red shots of Awesome whenever he feels like pouring. the best part is when there's a good crowd everyone is glued to the screen, and Danny's had a couple drinks, we all get into singing the fight song and doing the cheers like we're back in the student section. Danny likes to call Muggsy's the unofficial "Official" Maryland bar of Baltimore. so put on some Red and come on out tonight its the next best thing to being at Comcast.

"It's a place where bar owners, bartenders and enthusiastic bar customers can post their specials for certain events. An all-shill zone, if you will. But that's not a bad thing in this case"
thanks Hutsch aka Mr. Dumas

I ended up watching the last 10 minutes of the game at the Pratt Street Ale House after the Muse show. It was $3 pint night. Mmm.
