And the winner is ...

I'm a little disappointed that it took an hour for someone to guess our Mystery Bar (Grand Cru). An hour! The lucky someone was Josh Slates. Congrats, Josh! E-mail me at to claim your prize(s).

Sam, perhaps maybe a suggestion I may add to draw out the contest a litte longer? I frequent another blog that has a similar contest where you have to guess the picture...but instead of posting everyone's guess right away, they hold off a day and let everyone take a stab without seeing everone's guesses/comments right away. Then there is a post on the winner(first person to guess it), and maybe a picture of the bar that we can recognize, or an outside shot. Just a suggestion! Not that there is anything wrong with the way you do it now., but maybe you'd get more views and comments this way!

I'm intrigued by your proposal, and have submitted it to the Midnight Sun Executive Committee for further review. I expect a ruling by the third quarter.

Eh, if you're refering to the photo contest on the b website, don't praise them too much. I won their contest a while back and never got my prize despite several follow-ups. Sam, on the other hand, arranged for receipt of my spoils immediately when I won here!

Morals of this story:

1. Booooo b.

2. YAY Midnight Sun!

3. I am awesome at winning stuff EVERYTHING.

EVERYTHING except html tags.

not talking about b.
