Was there for the Ravens vs Colts game. The place was PACKED. We got there 2.5 hours before kickoff and got the last table. Even though the ravens lost I still had a great time.
They were doing wing and bucket specials during the game. You know there were a lot of people when they ran out of ALL BOTTLES. Yes.. domestic, import, everything. Oh well, just switched to PBR and Dogfish drafts lol.
I found it funny that the menus between Lagers and Hummers are practically the same. Both include a "Hummer Burger" (jalapeno-ish cheeseburger) among other things.
Listened to some of the live acoustic after the game which was half decent as well.
The only real renovations i noticed were they painted the walls and put up some lights.
PS- I hope in the future they bring over the happy hour $1 drafts that hummers still has.

i can barely contain myself! two bars of such high pedigree combining forces? i sure hope they'll have the good sense to combine the Lagers tagline "It gets sexy in here" with the name of Burow's old bar...

The place was up for sale. I wonder if it still is, or did Burow buy in?

Love the place...they redid the whole inside..new staff, new menu, new paint, new attitude!!! Wow!!! Joey D is gone, thank god! The guys that used to run HUMMERs are now at Lagers and it shows..they are not part of HUMMERS anymore...when they were there u could eat off the floor no HUMMERS is filthy. Lagers has the best drink specials, the best food for a corner bar and the women there are HOT!!! Cant wait for St Pattys Day!! Way to go guys!!!

We live in the area and it seems to be the same old useless bar. They do have some new specials, so maybe it will be popular with some folks looking for cheap bud lights for a week or two.
Bringit--Judging by the neighborly reaction to the last two St. Patty's parties, I wouldn't bet on there being another.

From the neighborhood, and there is definately a st. Pattys party. Don't worry Herbert, no tent this year, and the new staff really knows how to handle a crowd, these guys know what theyre doing. It will be refreshing to have some fun on st. Patricks day with out all the idiots! Plus their flyers say something about corned beef and cabbage speacials, $4 Guinness and $5 car bombs! I had the corned beef when they were at hummers, and it was amazing. Come join the fun!
