Do you doubt the Ravens?
I need some help here, gang. I'm looking for people who are Ravens pessimists. Doubting Thomases, if you will.
I need to talk to folks who didn't think the Ravens would get this far -- who think they're going to get stomped in Sunday's playoff game against the Patriots. This is for a story which could run in tomorrow's paper, so the sooner, the better.

I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

What if you are torn because you hate both teams, and can't decide which team you would like to lose more? Would you like my feelings?

This is a trick to get people tarred & feathered, isn't it?

Hey, at least they made it to the playoffs. That is something only a few teams get to experience each season. Now they have to play like they should have the entire season. Go Ravens!

They just aren't a good team this year. didn't think they'd beat the Raiders on the road last week. Only reason they did win is because Oakland put Russell in at QB.

Sturmy, dude, email me. You'd be perfect.

The Ravens? They look grape-alicious. Definitely the fruitiest uniforms. Yum.

Sorry, Sam. Wasted all of my pessimism on the Orioles and Terps.

To be a fan is to believe against all odds that your team is the best, even in a loss (to a Ravens fan, a loss is merely the result of the NFL being out to get us).
If I were to place all my worldly possessions on this playoff game in a straight pick'um, I would have to choose the Patriots to win. But I'd be using inductive logical thinking. Although, in my heart (read: man parts), I would still be rooting for a Ravens win. That is what being a fan is all about: it is uncontrollably irrational.
With that said, the Baltimore Ravens will win every Super Bowl from now on --- and you can quote me on that.

I find your lack of faith, disturbing.

Haters, the Ravens will put on a show for all of the NFL to see!!!!!

I'm a transplant with my own playoff bound team but I enjoy when the Ravens win. I love the purple skyline the banter in bars in lieu of tumbleweeds and the general demeanor of you usually rude bastards (joke). What I really enjoy is the $$$ that is made by all when the birds (any of 'em) are successful.

BELEIVE, YES, WE DO, OUR RAVENS WILL GO ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!

where are all the naysayers now, eh?
I don't see any of them re-visiting this blog.. hmmm..
Hey Sam, how about a re-do for the upcoming Colts game? Let's see if they can top last week's pessimism.
BTW, i personally agree 100% with Justin's comments..
