Introducing Woody's Winter Lounge
I'm a-lookin', and I'm a-likin' these photos of the new Woody's Winter Lounge.
After reading your suggestions, the Woody's crew went out and bought new furniture for the Fells Point space. They're also developing a winter cocktail and food menu, which will have a tiki bar theme.
The only idea that they didn't take into consideration was the death metal bar suggestion, according to manager Bill Irvin.
"That's the only one I couldn't pull off," he said. "Everything else, we're going to make happen." ...
Woody's will be open 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Fridays, 9 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturdays, 9 a.m.-2 a.m. Sundays, and also for special events, according to marketing rep. Willy Dely (he's the one who sent me the photos).

Did Bill also take the suggestion of getting better food and wait/service staff? New furniture and decor is nice, but if your staff and food is crap, it won't matter one bit!

Looks like they rearranged the deck chairs. Their businees model is apparently "let's suck up to the bloggers and see if they show up and spend money"

I do love the analogy "rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" but it looks like they've spent some money on some furniture. Will the winter lounge be enclosed during the colder months? If not, my Titanic reference might be exactly what they did.
