Roll call: Who's coming to the Midnight Sun Social?

For the first time ever (and with the help of Sun staffer Carla), I have established an official Facebook event for the Midnight Sun Social.

In case you've been living in a cave for the past few months, the Social is this Thursday (Oct. 29) at Bad Decisions (1928 Fleet St.) in Fells Point. Here is a link to the event page. Anybody who's on Facebook can RSVP to the event. Hope to see you there!

I'm there! But is it Thursday, October 29th or Sunday, November 1st?

Sunday, October 29? Um....

Doh! Fixed. It's definitely this Thursday.

I'll be there. I get off work at 5 and work only two blocks from Bad Decisions. I might be kind of loaded when everyone gets there. Don't worry! I'm charming.

I live right around the corner so I probably don't have any excuse not to come.

Will be there early as well. Unfortunately, I'm not so charming.

Liqourboarding, just hang with me. Everyone loves a good cop/bad cop routine.

What? Where's the REAL journalism on this site! Get outta yer car! Do some real work Sessa! This stinks!
I'll be there... (even though there no NEWS on this page!!)

No one is actually wearing costumes, right? I don't think mine will be ready by Thurs.

Aw, that's so cute, he thinks I'm actually ON Facebook. Anyhow, I may be there, dressed as a Baltimore Beer Week committee member......... maybe......... but I would need a "bad decision" beer. Any nominations?

80% sure i'm coming.

I want to come but have last game of kickball tomorrow...might try to make it over

Will there be bacon at Bad Decisions?

Will the more regular commenters gang up on us sporadics, or perhaps isolate themselves from the riff raff?

Are we casually drinking or getting intense?

Can I bring my girlfriend?

Is the food at Bad Decisions good?

Corey, the answer to your questions, in no particular order, are: yes, yes, no, maybe, sometimes, never and outlook not agreeable.

Won't know until Thursday afternoon.

Corey - I love Bad Decisions, but find another place for dinner.

I am there... But who is driving me?

I won't know until Thursday afternoon, either. Always looking for an excuse to drink though.

eCC- I can drive you there but I have to work at 8pm.

do they have any live entertainment or parking on that side of town?

Sam, 7 answers to 5 questions huh?

BaltBabs, thank you for your honesty and beauty.

Corey, my answers were kind of like a Choose Your Own Adventure novel. Or a Magic 8 Ball.

All are welcome, and all are encouraged to drink heavily. Girlfriends, boyfriends and various other spouses are encouraged. And there will be a commenter cage match. More on that later.

Will my mentor Tim Lumber be there? His writing give me wood.

Please tell me the cage match involves sumo wrestler suits. They're my fave. haha.

I'll be there. Probably costumeless bc I hate fun.

johnnycat vs. the world???

As much as I'd like to see that happen I will probably not be able to attend due to my work obligation to the Kickball League of Baltimore. But if we get rained out I might be inclined to attend, in costume of course.

I'm going to go over to the kickball game and drag Cardwell there by his horns.

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
