Suite 18 replaces Gordon's Nightclub

suite 18 baltimoreA new club called Suite 18 has replaced Gordon's Nightclub (1818 Maryland Ave.).

I wish I could tell you more about Suite 18, but I haven't been able to get a hold of the new owners (or the owner of Gordon's).

I've left phone messages and sent e-mails, but gotten no responses. So if you know anything about Suite 18, fill me in.

Years ago, this spot used to be home to a live music club called The Rev.

In fact, local indie rockers the Oranges Band wrote a song about it in the song "Gordon's Nightclub." That's on their latest album, Are Invisible.

I haven't been there, but I am Facebook friends w/someone who promotes events there. They have a Facebook page and website. I've heard good things froma couple of people. They seem to be on similar lines to Eden's Lounge.

My father & his associate are the owners of Suite 18. You can contact Antoine @ 443-871-5014 & leave a message. The club is amazing! Caters to VIP parties & lots of local talent! This Friday Maxwell is performing @ 1st Mariner Arena & the after party for the performers will be at Suite 18!! So come on out & get yourself the story!

Also, the e-mail you want to send any questions regaurding the club to is:

questions@ste18.com the actual website itself is ste.com also!

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
