Another place to watch the fireworks tonight
When I compiled the list of the best places to watch the fireworks tonight, outside of the crowded Inner Harbor pavilion scene, I left one great spot out: Tabrizi's, (500 Harborview Dr.). I don't know why I didn't include Tabrizi's in the list ...
Thankfully, owner Michael Tabrizi saw the list and e-mailed me about my omission.
"I wonder why such a gem is being missed by you!," he wrote.
I wonder too, Michael. Sorry about that.
Happy 4th everybody!

I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.

Tabrizi's would be missed because it has a dress code, and the food is not good enough for it to have a dress code. Not to mention that they do not tell you about the dress code when you make reservations so you may find yourself sitting outside if you find yourself to be a scandalous women with exposed knees.

Why were the fire works so short last night i was told by the hotel bellman that being there was so many people at the gallery along the seawall and the fact that during the show people came running out in a panic screaming that the show was cut short so the police could clear the area,
