I think that place has been on sale for well over a year now.
When I moved back to Baltimore and was searching for homes, I was half tempted to buy the place and start over.
Pretty affordable if memory serves

I may be all over that... Give Zink Enterprises a run for its money.

Evan,
I think it's actually Zink Enterprises International, Ltd.

It's been for sale for quite a while. If memory serves the last time I saw a price listed it was $350,000. I think.

Lgood, does that include the building? Or is it just the business?
Posted by: Sam Sessa | June 2, 2009 10:55 AM
Sam,
That includes the building as well. I am pretty sure it also has a 7 day 2am license. The owner just wants to retire. It would be a great place to open a beer bar, i.e. Racer's on Harford Rd. or Growler's in Canton or Muggsy's without food. You would have to put a little bit of money into it for windows, but not too much. It's a great place for an owner/ operator and you could make a nice little living off of it.

How about a 24/7 Bacon and Beer bar?
Posted by: CantonKate | June 3, 2009 3:49 PM
Jason,
You're looking through Fed Hill with your beer goggles on. Still love you though. I took one step in there and slammed my face into the back wall. It's that small. Luckily, while I was there I got a tour of the ceiling, subfloor and flooring that fell into the bar area. It has since been 'patched up'. Leaking pipes in the bathroom that looked like it was salvaged from the USS Baltimore. I mean who has wood floors, walls and ceilings in a bathroom? Windows would be. . . a good start. Also, their realtor, guy who owns the Rowan Tree - great conflict of interest. He never disclosed that he was a bar owner and yes you should disclose it. But it didn't matter cause he knows no one will pay 350,000 for a dump in that hood.
P.S. I got a rumor and a number that Porter's is for sale. Do I have confirmation on this? Sam? Sam? Mark Twain?

Anonymouse - Yes, Porter's has been for sale for a little while now: http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/stories/2009/04/27/daily59.html

I heard Porter's is/ was for sale for $400k I think. I believe that was for the business only and I am not sure what the lease is, which is very important.
