"Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon. just love the guitars. Although it is getting overexposed very quickly!

Sing for the Moment - Eminem

From this Moment On - Shania Twain

Little Moments - Brad Paisley

Moment of Surrender - U2

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck?

Makin It by David Naughton, because it is timeless. That's right timeless.

A Moment Like This - Kelly Clarkson

You will stoop to anything, Sessa. Why not give away a puppy? This is shameless. Who can compete with this kind of online huckstering. I'm kidding...very clever....Z

Sam, for the 13,000 comment, I think a 2010 topic should be a makeover for our favorite bsun blogger...

I love the Sean Kingston song, "Fire Burning" - it's bubblegummy summer delight!

Favorite song is now West Palm Beach by Palace (AKA Will Oldham)

Just imagining my beach vacation now.

My favorite song of the moment is Buffett's "One Particular Harbor" because it reminds me of my new fiance, of summer, and of the coming months of just relaxing, grilling outside, and being with friends and family!

Don't Want to Fall in Love by Jane Child...It is playing on the media player

Passion Pit "Little Secrets" off their new album, Manners.

K'naan's Wavin Flag. Check it out: ♫ http://blip.fm/~79l18

My Girls - Animal Collective

At first, I simply enjoyed the upbeat tempo and all the layers of percussion, but then I figured out what the song was about and fell in love.

This is a beta comment. If this were an actual comment, it would comment.

I don't have a favorite song right now.

Do we get only one entry per person?

Phil Seymour - Baby It's You:

Just an energetic, feel good pop song

Anything on the new Animal Collective or anything Beastie Boys...let's say Get it Together.

Nothing, my ipod broke.

Summerzcool, Jimmy Buffett. Good summertime music.

Obviously anything by Lady Gaga...

"Summer Can't Last Too Long" by Asia. Because I'm a boater, and summer is NEVER too long.

Jigsaw by Lady Sovereign. It's a great song and she was super when I saw her at the Sonar last month.

i ain't superstitious - jeff beck, rod stewart on vocals

you can hear the similarities of beck and page. seeing how they both were in the yardbirds, it makes sense.

My favorite song is probably "Manhattan" by Kings of Leon...

I'm loving all their music but there's something about that one...

The whole album is great 'outside on the next with a bottle of wine and a good book' music.

Airstream Driver by Gomez...It's fluid and catchy and has some nice subtle dirty guitar work goin' on. It also reminds me of the summer my wife and I spent driving around the country. Plus I have noticed that if I silently run through chorus during my backswing, my drives are straight and long. " she shoots but never misses,go carefully, carefully, oh Airsteam Driver..."

Hmm...seems to be taking quite a bit of time. Decent happy hour specials in federal hill tonight: Drifters (i refuse to call it Noble's) 6-9pm bottomless cup for $10 or so...Mad River has 6-9 $5 wristband that gets you $1 drafts, well, etc. Happy imbibing....

Did I win?

Though it's not new by any means, my latest earworm is "Hey" by the Pixies. I just re-watched a documentary about them, and this song has been stuck in my head ever since. I love the random vocal sounds in it.

I'm really loving a song by this new band Phoenix.

It's called "Fences"

It's a really cool little groove type song. Everytime I hear it, I feel like getting down and dancing where ever I'm at.

It's terrible to admit it, but Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face' b/c my friend does a funny dance when it comes on at the bar...and makes me laugh. What can I say, but it's the first thing that came to mind.

Any Kings of Leon song. I love you Caleb!!!

About Sam Sessa
I've been The Baltimore Sun's nightlife and local entertainment reporter for a couple years, and it's surprising how much the scene has grown in that time. Most of Baltimore's bars and clubs are unpretentious places with fairly cheap drinks and plenty of character. I like dancing and think this city needs more clubs, but nothing beats having a cold, locally brewed beer with friends in a comfortably full corner bar.
