Wanna meet some Media Mavens tomorrow?
Once a month, us Baltimore Media Mavens get together to kick back a few drinks and complain about the State of Things.
Things ain't so hot in the World of Journalism lately.
Sick of my Unnecessary Capitalization? OK, I'll stop.
Anyhow, us media types take turns throwing happy hours for each other. And the next one is tomorrow (Thursday, April 16) from 5 p.m. until about 7 p.m. at the Metro Gallery (1700 N. Charles St.) ...
I'm not sure about the drink specials, but I hear the beer is going to be served in brown paper bags, which is awesome. This particular Media Mavens Happy Hour is being hosted by the folks at Gutter Magazine.
There will be some Baltimore Sun peeps, as well as writers of Style Magazine, former Baltimore Examiner writers ... the list goes on.
I'm going to be there a little before 6 p.m. and stay for a round or two. I've got to head to Max's (737 S. Broadway) and be a celebrity judge on Quiz-A-Ma-Jig later that night.

not as many as it takes douchey Fed Hill meat heads to that's for sure. Damn, try to invite people to a happy hour for local bloggers... guess we should have sports bar Lite beer pong specials and red cups...then it would have been "sweet!"
